Game six has come and went and man was it a good one. The Oilers won 4 to nothing over the Hurricanes forcing a game 7 in Carolina. This makes me happy on a couple of levels. One the guys on the Oilers are good guys and have worked hard through a lot of tough things this playoffs and I would like to see them win for that reason. Plus those New York NHL types that have been bitching for three games that it is not over and how much they hate coming to Edmonton now have to get on a plane again and fly to Carolina to work some more. It is amazing how people who are used to having New York City around them think how crappy Edmonton is because they don't have a crack dealer on every corner and a fashion model walking the sidewalk. Maybe the model and the crack dealer are the same person. Anyway, now they have to work some more and that pisses them off and their inconvenience makes me smile.
The game was awesome and the crowd was loud. Really loud. This rink is soo loud. I will publish some video for you to listen to....Enjoy.

Team Score
We had the usual lives after the game except this time the boys had to be at the airport to make the charter by 11:15pm. So we had less to do today and it was all good. Team Score rocks.
Hamilton goes back in time...
I just could not resist the chance to jump on the Zamboi. NO I did not get to go out and resurface the ice like I did back in the day in Green Bay, but I just wanted to get back on a Zamboni again. Mastercard, it's everywhere you want to be.
Here is a flashback photo of me back in Green Bay...
I wanna drive the Zamboni
I might remind you that that Zam right there was the oldest Zam in operation at the time and was also the Zamboni that was in Happy Gilmore when Happy was skating with the chick and the Zam guy was signing along with endless love. I drove that Zamboni. My 15 minutes was up a long time ago.
I might also add that I am wearing in that photo was at the time, my most prized possesion. The Hamilton Gambler jersey. That was stolen at an Oiler game here in the year 2001. Interesting side story, I told that story to Matt Greene, who is now an Oiler and a former Gambler, and he told me he would give me his the next time he went home. Nice guy. Matt Greene is my favorite Oiler. He will be playing in the game on Monday. He hits like a linebacker. Awesome to watch.
