My Pick for the Stanly Cup and the latest member of the Entourage...

Yes that is correct, it is time to pick who I think will win the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I was 50% last round. Not great by my standards. In fact I have not been that great at all this year. I was 50% in every round. Not good at all. I need to get back to work on my statistical ANALysis of the NHL and how much I know. No, really I just need to stop picking who I want to win and start picking who WILL win. I picked too much with my heart this year.

Anyway, for the finals I will let you know that I am again going to pick with my heart. In fact as I sit here I am listening to one of my Favorite bands of all time, Nobody's Children, and they are inspiring me to pick not with who probably has the momentum, but to pick with the team that I think deserves it and needs it more.

Anyway, on a related note, the Children are getting back together for a gig in Minot next summer and I am stoked. I can't wait to see if Todd Holdman can still kill the bass, if Micah Scott can still shred, oh and if Adam G can still pound the skins. Check this link to find out more. Oh and here is the music video I did for them back in the day...

Okay back to the task at hand. I cannot wait for Lord Stanley's cup to be handed out and Gary Bettmann gets booed at centre ice. I love that...

STANLEY CUP FINAL

Chicago Blackhawks (2) vs Philadelphia Flyers (6)

I know that Donnie Granato said that the Hawks just did not have the depth in goalie to take it all, and I have been picking against that all the way to where we are now. So I have put in a call to Don to see if he would revise his stance or if he is now on the Hawks and picking them to win. Please wait here while I give him a call.

I just got off the phone with Don and he told me that the two things he was worried about for the Hawks in the post season was Goaltending and the playoff grit. They have answered the bell on both accounts. He said that grit is where the Hawks have had the edge in all series so far but in this round it is gonna be the key because both teams have some much grit right now the ice will be leveled on this count.

He also says that the match up between Byfuglien and Pronger is gonna be the key in this series because if Dustin can get to Pronger it will go towards the Hawks. If Pronger can keep up with the kid the Flyers will be okay but if Dustin can get Chris into the red zone advantage Hawks. He says that Niemi has answered the bell as far as his goaltending goes so he does not even question that. Donnie also said that the city of Chicago is buzzing and he will be at the games this weekend and can't wait to see how this will turn out. He thinks this is a series that is gonna be great because of the grit involved. I agree.

My observation is that Niemi looked a bit rough in the first rounds but he has looked awesome of late and the goal scorers on the Hawks have picked their game up. Guys like Kane, Seabrook, and Sharp were a bit slow coming out of the gate but have gotten better as the playoffs have gone along. J Toews is a beast. Leading the playoffs in scoring and leading his team to the promised land. Might I add he is a former UND Fighting Sioux. Oh and as far as I am concerned they will always be the Fighting Sioux in my book. They can try to change the name but it will never change in the minds of the fans. Byfuglien is a guy who plays the way I would play, well, if I could actually skate worth a damn. He hits everything that moves, scores, and looks like he is having fun while doing it.

As for Philly, as I said earlier, they are team with huge grit. The Hawks could get under the skin of the Sedin sisters and Joe Thornton easy. Those guys need to add grit to their game. The Flyers have Richards, Briere, and my boy Ian Laperriere. As for their goaltending, again as I said in the last round, I keep waiting for him to crash to earth, but he hasn't. Donnie thinks he won't. He also said that the Hawks had Leighton in their system for a while and when he was in the AHL he owned it and knew that it would be that way when he got the chance in the NHL. This is gonna be a great series.

My prediction is that Dustin is gonna make Pronger very angry and Pronger will take a bad penalty that will cost him a game and the Flyers the series. I am taking the Blackhawks in 6. Read it and weep. One bonus to the Hawks winning the cup is a former Gambler will finally get his name on the cup. Adam Burish used to play for the finest team in the USHL the Green Bay Gamblers. Get on it.

There you have it. Call your bookies.

NEXT:

Our next member of the TundraTalk Entourage is none other than the man himself, Cory Blashill. Cory has been in the NHL trenches now for the past few months slogging from airport to airport bringing you all your inside look at what the players are thinking from game to game for Rogers Sportsnet. Thank you Cory for bringing this service to us every year. Oh, also did I mention he also does a helluva lot of drinking as well? Well he does. He is a pro at both of his spring endeavors, drinking and following the Stanley Cup to its final resting place for the year.

As far as I am concerned this guy could have his own Entourage if he wanted to, but he doesn't and that is why he made mine. Cory is also the first Canadian picked to be in this illustrious Entourage. He is a fixer as you would say in the biz. You have a problem, he fixes it. Whether it be you need a bottle for some mixer or you need the hookup to get tickets to the game. Cory knows everyone and everyone knows Cory. Cory is extremely loyal and is one of those guys you want on your side when the going gets tough. I am extremely proud to have him in my posse.

Cory is also a bit of a rebel. A guy who is not afraid to call it like he sees it. I cannot tell you how many times he has called me a jackass. Wait, everyone calls me a jackass. Cory calls me a Jagoff. Cory is also the guy who took the picture of the Ugly Jacket. He took huge heat for that moment in TundraTalk history. Huge heat. He was kicked off the Oilers team charter. His boss was called, as was mine, and he stood tall thru it all. He will not be intimidated. Not at all.

Cory is also the guy who did the great video for me when I got my citizenship to Canada. That was an awesome thing to do. I was really proud that day to have him in attendance at that ceremony. He took time out of his schedule to put that together for me. Killer Job. Here is a link to the video of you want to watch it.

Cory took some time last week out of his busy schedule covering the Stanley Cup to share his feelings on being selected to this posse. I guess you could say he won his own Stanley Cup by being selected to this posse...

As I received at my hotel my letter of acceptance I had to sit down and take a big breath. You might be thinking that I was so to touched by the honor. But I actually had to stop myself from punching Nick Kypreos in the chicklets due to the fact Hauser was picked first, then Nordic Man was 2, with Weiser being selected 3rd. How does a guy with my resume get picked after those guys? That is so weak.

I am now going to play the nationality card. You always draft a Canadian first. We take care off business. When it comes to the Entourage you need a good cop and a bad cop. Guess what I was selected for. Do the math donkey. Don't worry crew I got ya back.

Canadians always come in to clean up the mess!!!
I am a one man wolf pack that now has 5 new wolves in my pack. Run free a wild my friends and stay thirsty.

I'm out

C

Cory, well done my friend. I will tell you why you were picked later in the draft. Drama. Pick Cory first, NO DRAMA, pick Cory middle DRAMA. Just remember Cory you and Marty are THE foundation of this Entourage and will be the mainstays. Well, we have two more guys to pick. One for the main crew and one more alternate. Who will it be? Stay tuned for the next 30 or so years and you may find out.

NOW HAVE A GREAT LONG WEEKEND AND GET BACK TO WORK!!!

Chad Weiser makes the cut and queen loss fall out...

Hello, and welcome to TundraTalk as we continue on our 2 to 6 year selection process of picking my entourage. I know, most of you have been a bit angry about how long it has been taking. Some of you have moved on completely and don't care any more. Sorry about that, but you know, life catches up to you and a guy that is running a multi dollar multi media conglomerate like TundraTalk runs short of time. Or Maybe I am just a bit lazy. Who knows. Get over it. I am back to doing it. Trust me, the guys who are involved are paying attention.

I guess as you can see by the picture up there that Chad Weiser is the latest selection into my Entourage. Chad came up strong in his interview overcoming a few obstacles. CLICK HERE if you want to run it again. The first being that he sat in a car and watched me fight two guys once. Yeah, it happened. Oh, and the huge hurdle of marrying one of my old girlfriends. He did well and excelled to make the cut.

I first met Chad when I moved to North Dakota back in the early eighties. Yes it is true he was in the original posse that was formed in a 1982 Ford Escort GLX. That car was dubbed the Escorche and was the site of many a crazy scheme and RUN DMC sing-a-long. We spent a lot of time running around the state of ND blowing shit up and having a ton of fun doing it. Other members of this posse were Shannon Just and Bryan Powell.

In fact, those guys were the basis of my company WhiteHot Productions. Back in 1983 we stole my old man's camera and took over the Hazen Golf course and shot the first of many award winning shows. Celebrity Golf Tournament started me toward WhiteHot Productions and to a career where I actually get paid to run a camera. Nice. Chad now lives in Seattle, is married to Angie Reiker (said former girlfriend), has two kids and is working as a Lawn Care Specialist. I guess he mows lawns and stuff. Naw, he is a landscape architect. Chad has something to say..

I, Chad Weiser, newest member of Chris Peterson's Entourage, would like to thank God, my family, Chris of course, the people of Canada, the Packers, and cold North Dakota winters which provided long extents of boredom for Chris and I to start the origins of his first crew/entourage.

Being an old timer in Chris's circle of candidates, I appreciate Chris's memory of my great skills in having his back for all potential slobber-knocking fights and entertaining him during those long winters (not like that, get your mind out of the gutter), while forgetting that I married his old girlfriend.
Well a lot of time has passed, and we are all better for it.

Now that Chris is a big shot, I am sincerely humbled by his selection of me for his Entourage. I expect to be a confidant and counselor, but most importantly my goal will be to properly serve and protect while bringing him a beer or brat whenever he desires.

To the TT Nation, carry on and be strong. Go Brett Farve.

Chadwick Von Weiser

Nice job Chad, well except for that Brent Favre blast at the end. Screw Brent Favre.

Speaking of Brent Favre. I got some good feedback on my last posting. First thing I got, within minutes, was from Gene Principe, of the Sportsnet Principe's.

I never should have believed in Favre...what the hell? Too many players on the field? Who is the coach Ken Miller? Then the pick. What a shithead Favre is...if he doesn't know better by now it's too late...I should be watching the Super Bowl hoping to wash away the ghosts of Fran Tarkenton and the Vikings 4 Super Bowl trips without victories..instead Drew 'Birthmark' Brees represents the NFC..I've had enough.. Gene

I believe that was sent via his crackberry because I had to correct a ton of grammar and spelling. One thing I do love about it is the venom involved. Ha, ha ha. Live by the Favre, die by the Favre. Not sure why he had to blast Drew Brees, but hey, he was angry, and I love it.

Marty then followed up my post by sending me a ton of pictures that really make me happy. Have a look...and have a great week...

It is so hard being right all the time. Wait, no it's not. Oh and Weiser's Podcast is up and on the air...

Yes, it is hard to be humble. I called it. I told you what would happen, and it happened. Some might call that having ESP, most TV networks might call me up and base a prime time show on me. I just am that good.

The Stanley Cup went to the Pittsburgh Penguins in seven games. If you would like to confirm that I was right, just click here. It was a great final game that was a nail biter from end to end. I am usually very critical of Detroit fans because they hardly ever get to the game on time, or back to their seats for the beginning of the period but I will give them credit for staying through the trophy ceremony and actually clapping for the Penguins. I will also give them credit for booing the shit out of Bettman. I love that. It happens every year and it is worth the wait every year. Bettman is a tool.

I want Ty Conklin's name on the cup really bad, but he just was on the wrong team. If you look at recent history, he has been on the wrong team of late. He was in Edmonton when they lost in seven games to the Carolina Hurricanes. He was also in Ottowa when they lost the cup. He was on the Pittsburgh Penguins last year when they lost to the Wings. I think it is safe to say at this point that if Ty is on your team you will get to the final but winning it is probably not in the cards. In the USHL Ty won back to back championships for the Green Bay Gamblers so he is not a jinx by any means but he did lose the NCAA Frozen Four with the New Hampshire Bears and the Calder Cup (game 7) with the Hamilton Bulldogs. Not sure what to do with all that math.

Let me tell you a story. There is a guy I know named Preacherman. He is a guy from Pulaski Wisconsin. He likes hockey. He also likes the Godless Detroit Red Wings. As he has always done, he will call me or text me after the Red Wings win against the Avs. During this final he took time out of his 'busy' schedule to text me immediately after EVERY game in this series. Of course these texts were not of a complimentary nature. Most of them were very braggadocio. Nice word huh? Yeah, I am kind of a big deal. Anyway, he would most of the time tell me how many games the Red Wings had won. I would always tell him that it takes 4 to win the Cup. He was counting his chickens so to say, which we all know, especially in hockey, a person should not do.

Well, Preacherman has something to say to all of you out there in TundraTalk Nation...

Dear TundraTalk Nation,

I still sit here brokenhearted. When parents say they love their kids equally in their own way, THEY ARE LYING! Every parent has their fav kid. My favorite "kid", the Detroit Red Wings, decided only to show up to a couple of the the Stanley Cup finals games. And it showed by bowing out to my other kid, Sid the kid, and the Pittsburgh Penguins in seven games (as Sign Boy perdicted once again). Chris is getting almost as good with his picks as the stinking genious Arnie Spanier.

As I sat there watching game seven in my Joey Kocur sweater (and Crosby sweatsuit underneath) I realized how much they need Darren McCarty and Chelli out there. The Wings were trying to be too pretty, they need to play that tough game that brought them the past 4 cups. They don't have the skill that they had in '02 (thank God for Brett Hull!) They got ran over, out played, out everything by the Pens. And it does seem like Ty Conkiln is a Stanley Cup curse, even though it pains
me to say that. My heart did stop for a little while when Sidney got hurt, but it's all good now.

Mario finally passed the torch to Sid, it's now his league. It was awesome seeing Mario with the cup again. PLEASE Mario, just one more shift. You, Sid, and Malkin.

Preacherman

Well Preacherman, it takes a strong man to admit he was wrong, and boy you were wrong, so I congratulate you on your admitting wrongness. You root for a crappy hockey team and you are not ashamed to admit it. If only you could be as bold about your Lions. Man they suck.

I would like to also at this point say I offered space to Trev Doroshenko to apologize to you, but he would not. He has too much pride (ego) to admit when he is wrong. Oh and he IS WRONG.

NEXT: I had the opportunity to conduct my interview with OG Posse Member Chad Weiser, of the Seattle Weisers, this week. Chad took time out of his 'big city' schedule to make his case for being part of the most elite posse this side of the Mississippi. We are on this side of the Mississippi aren't we?

Anyway, Chad (that is him as Bob McKenzie on the left in the black and white pic) brought the noise and made a strong case for inclusion. He took Marty Frey's smak and handed it right back, he set the record straight on the War Hero in the car wash incident, and did quite well on his movie quotes. CLICK HERE to listen to the podcast or just click the link at the top right of the page. You know TundraTalk is the Podcast that does not suck.

Next up on the Podcast that never ends is Shawn Hauser of the Green Bay Hausers. He will round up our interview process and send the wheels in motion to selection. Unless, Tony Mutzenberger makes a late apperance. Which would be nice.

How will the selection happen you ask? Well let me tell ya. It, of course, will be long and drawn out. I will be selection 5 guys for the posse, PLUS two alternates. The alternates will not have the honor of being in the actual posse BUT will be called upon at a moments notice to fill in for a 'first team' memeber if he cannot fulfill his duties at any time.

On the first selection post I will name the two fellas who rose up to be apart of the the alternate crew. Then I will post once a day until we have the whole crew named. I know, the tension is thick and you cannot hardly wait, but it will be worth it.

Now, Have a great Monday, and GET BACK TO WORK!!!

My pick for the Finals, Marty's Podcast, and another queen dumbass...

Okay, I know a lot of you have already seen the video above but I am showing it now because it is almost boat season here in Saskabush and I am damn sure going to be singing this song, in my head, every time I set foot in my boat. Funny as shit. I played it at work about 30 times the other day.

Oh, if you are at work make sure you do not turn it up because there is some swearing in the song. I will not take any responsibility if you lose your job because you are jamming out to this. I saw it first on Shannon Just Blog.

NEXT: I conducted Marty Frey's Entourage interview last night and it was epic. I will be editing it today and hopefully have it up tonight for all 20 or so of you who actually take the time to listen to it to peruse. Marty came strong and took shots at the host, NBC, Jay Leno, and of course the queens.

Speaking of Jay Leno he gave us some insight in the whole shift of power between Jay and Conan since he has been in rehearsals for Conan's show all week. This is another TT exclusive for you. I am truly a media mogul running this multi dollar website. You can CLICK HERE or click on the link to the right to listen to the podcast. If the words are not blue I do not have it up yet. When they turn blue it is on. Nice.

That also means that Chad Weiser, of the Seattle coffee drinkin' Weisers, is up next. I plan on cranking that one out soon also so be prepared.

NEXT: My picks for the Stanley Cup Final will be very similar to last year except for one thing....

DETROIT RED WINGS (2) VS PITTSBURGH PENGUINS (4)

Now, you all know I hate the Red Wings with a passion. I don't need to go there. We also know that Preacher and Doroshenko misguidedly love the wings. Don't need to go there. Ty Conklin is one of the greatest Green Bay Gamblers of all time AND a TT vetran. True. I want Ty's name on the Cup more than I want Favre to stay retired (which he will). Yes we know that. Preacher is in love with Sidney Crosby. True.

So where is this going? To the obvious, Penguins will win the Stanley Cup. Take it to the bank. Now I will tell you why. Since Gary Bettman is a tool and his only desire is not to keep the game of hockey great but to get better ratings in the USA (which will NEVER happen). In his infinite wisdom, and since NBC has their hand up his ass (sorry Marty). He has decided to play back to back games in the Stanley Cup final. Somebody kick this guys ass now.

Some of you may say that these guys are pros and should just shut up and play. Well you can say that as long as you are just watching them on TV. BUT, I followed the Oilers in 2006 in the playoffs and finals and I can tell you by being there that this is a very difficult thing to win the Stanley Cup. These guys beat the shit out of each other and that day of rest is very important to them. Gary, the numbnuts, Bettman makes them play Saturday night and then again Sunday afternoon. That is less than 24 hours to recover. God forbid the game goes a few overtimes. Screw Gary Bettman. He is ruining the game of hockey. Not to mention his hypocracy with this whole Phoenix Coyotes thing. Screw him.

Anyway, I think the Penguins are less beat up and are more ready for this. Sid the Kid has the eye of the tiger and Billy Gun Guerin has not got this far in his career and is not going to let it slip away. Sorry Ty, I am taking the Penguins in 7.

I would also like you to notice for the past few posts there has been little things to click on at the bottom. Kinda instant feedback you can say. Make sure you take time to click on the stuff on the bottom. Especially the viqueens suck one.

Oh and one more thing: I found this the other day on PackerPalace dot com. Fran Tarkenton, who played for the queens, has apparently lots to say about Favre in the Green Bay Press Gazette. After reading this...

“I think it's despicable,” Tarkenton told 790 The Zone in Atlanta (via the Minneapolis Star Tribune) regarding the possibility of Brett Favre playing for the Vikings. “What he put the Packers through last year was not good. Here’s an organization that was loyal to him for 17, 18 years, provided stability of organization, provided players. It just wasn’t about Brett Favre. In this day and time, we have glorified the Brett Favre’s of the world so much, they think it’s about them. He goes to New York and bombs. He’s 39 years old. How would you like Ray Nitschke in his last year [playing for] the Vikings, or I retire, and go play for the Packers? I kind of hope it happens, so he can fail.”

“He told the Packers [after 2008 that], ‘I’m retiring,’” Tarkenton said. “They’ve got to move on. They’ve got to go through their offseason plan, their workouts, they go with the other quarterback [Aaron Rodgers], who is a good player, and then [Favre] comes back and says, ‘I think I want to play.’ . . . You build your team in the offseason. Everybody knows that. It’s about team. It’s not about Brett Favre. So he goes and runs up to the Jets, doesn’t even dress in the locker room with the players. Has a separate facility. Playing quarterback is about the relationships you have with your coaches, with your players, with your trainers, with your managers. How can you do that if you show up on gameday and you haven’t put the time in? And now he’s trying to do it again in Minnesota. And if Minnesota bites, God bless them. . . .

“He’s been a great player, there’s no question about it, but it’s all about him. It is supposed to be all about your team. If you’re going to be the quarterback of your team, you need to be there in the offseason workouts in March and April. Peyton Manning’s there. Tom Brady’s there.”

“I think [Favre] has been a great flamboyant quarterback, but he has made more stupid plays than any great quarterback that I’ve ever seen,” Tarkenton said. “Look at his final game in a Packers uniform [the 2007 NFC title game]. He blew that game against the Giants. He’s playing against Eli Manning. I love Eli Manning, but he’s still not a great quarterback. He’s not Peyton yet, or Tom Brady. He’s just a guy. And [the Packers] are playing at home, and they’re in a tight situation, they went to overtime and [Favre] throws the interception that allows [the Giants] to come back and win the game.”

I used to have a lot of respect for Fran, but now all I have to say to him is show me your ring dick weed, then you can talk. Suck on that Frannie boy.

Thank you.

Make sure you send Derek Venckus, of the Deep South Venckus', a happy birthday greeting. He will appreciate it.
Have a great day and an even better weekend. Now GET BACK TO WORK.

TundratTalk Nation rises up...

Okay, I am sorry that it took me to blow up on you but you came through. Marty was the first to step up to the plate but the rest of you took off.

First up we have Ivy, of the Moorhead Minnesota Ivy's. He apparently is down south somewhere that is not experiencing the best of weather. Ivy what you got?

Peterson:

I was actually thinking a Pack jersey might be OK, as I thought "the" question could be Pack, or Queens? He is an old Gopher you know.

And it is totally appropriate to break tradition and do the 4 fingers with Nature Boy. You really shouldn't do it any other way in my opinion.

Wish I was there. Coldest weather in Florida since the Ice Age and too windy to fish. Oh well...

Later

Ivy

Okay Ivy is for the Pack jersey. Figures since he is a queen fan. Remember all you queen fans are welcome under our tent. No harm done. He is also for the four fingers up. I am thinking that is a good idea also. As for your question, not bad. I might add that one in there. If he says queens, I am not sure if I will tell him he is wrong, even though he would be. I know it would be an honour for him to lock in the figure four on me, but that kinda hurts so I think I will leave it alone.

Next up is Danny McIntosh, of the Regina CTV (sucks) McIntosh's. He is also in agreement on the four fingers up...

I have the solutions to your problems my friend. You wear your very own Ric Flair/Chris Peterson head to toe Armani. You flash the 4 fingers. And you ask him how his kids are doing. Problem solved.

Need anything else - let me know.

Dan McIntosh

Okay Danny. Thanks for the help. Not sure I am going to ask how are his kids. I do know that one of his boys is going to wrestle one of Hogan's kids. The one who is not in jail for killing someone (allegedly). As for the 'anything else' how about coming over and shoveling my driveway. See ya soon.

Next on the list of those who helped is Jon Bauer, of the Minot Budget Tapes and Records Bauer's..

Chris,

thing to sign : your arm so that you can make it into a real neat tattoo
thing to wear: Carolina Huricanes Hockey jersey
question: ask him if he has ever met Chris Paul

hope this helped

Jon Bauer

First off, no, Jon is not related to Jack Bauer of 24 fame. Second, the tattoo is funny but not practical. I did a story on a guy in GB once who wanted Favre to sign his back so he could do that. He also had a full size tattoo of Lambeau Field, Lombardi, the Super Bowl trophies (viqueens don't have any), and about 10 0ther things Packer related. Nope, not gonna do it. The Carolina Hurricanes jersey is a good idea but I do not have one. Last but not least, who is Chris Paul? Is he a basketball player, and why should Flair know him?

Next up is Heath McCoy, of the Calgary Herald McCoy's. He is as you all know the author of the great book about Stampede Wrestling. You can buy it here. Great book. Let see if his ideas are as good as the book...

Seriously man… That was a funny blog. I'd definitely pose with him doing the horsemen hand sign. It's a show of respect and will show him you're a true fan as opposed to the generic thumbs up.

As for the question… I think I'd ask him what he considers to be the golden era of professional wrestling and if he thinks the art is dying in the current climate. How does today's product measure up to what he was bringing people in the 70s and 80s?

Good luck man… I'm pumped for ya.

Heath

Thank you Heath. I appreciate your comments since you are a big time author and all. Another vote for the four fingers up. I like your question a lot. I was thinking of asking something along these lines but could not word it as well as you did. I guess that is why you get paid to do this by the Calgary Hearald. Nice job Heath. I will ask him that.

Donna, of the Donna's who lives in my house Donna's, also gave me some, ahem, advice.

Christopher,

You sound like a girl getting ready for the prom. I don't think you planned this much for our wedding. Donna

uh thanks, I think. I am not sure if you really know what a prom is since you do not have those here in Canada. But thanks again. Oh and I did plan a lot for our wedding. Remember the keg. That was me.

Last but not least, Venckus Schmenkus, of the Tennessee Venckus',drops this one on me...

Peterson,

You think you're stressed? Really? My stomach has been in knots for months waiting to find out if I'm part of your entourage.

Venckus

Okay Derek, dually noted. I am still trying to get over the fact that I did not get the war hero on a podcast and have got a bit lazy. First order of business next week is getting Mitch Davis on his interview for the Entourage. I have a few days off next week so I can get this done. Oh, wait, he is going to some beach somewhere. Okay, so we will adjust our lineup a bit and skip over to Marty. Then Mitch, if he is back. Or we will just do Weiser. Get ready boys cause here I come.

Tomorrow, Doroshenko is driving me to the airport at 7am so I have to pack. Get ready E Town Here I come.

Now again, GET BACK TO WORK!!!

SUPERSTAR!!!!!

Okay, so Trev, of the Regina Trev's, and me went to the Rider game on Saturday. It was against the Montreal Allouettes. Anyway, I was geeked and so was Trev. We totally had good seats, 24 rows up on the 40 yard line. Sweet.

It was really rainy right up to kick off. We stood underneath the stadium to partake in tasty beverages and delicious bratwurst. As we were doing so I noticed a TSN Camera jockey taking pictures of the water that was draining off the stadium. Now me being the low keyed guy that I am naturally decided to stay away from the camera and not risk being noticed. Yeah right. I walked right up to the camera and said hello. Nice. Well after that I then recieved several phone calls letting me know that I made the show. NATIONWIDE BABY!!!. Yup, that is how I roll.

CLICK HERE to see me on the highlights. I rule.

Then the rain stopped, we took our seats, the we had more tasty beverages, we sang a few songs, saw Elvis, high fived several complete strangers, saw a rainbow, and oh, yeah, THE RIDERS BEAT THE SNOT OUT OF THE ALS. In that order. Gotta love it when a plan comes together.

Outstanding game to watch. The Riders knocked a ball loose on a kickoff, picked off a pass, and scored a brilliant TD to win. All in the last three minutes or so. AWESOME.

Riders are 4-0, first time since 1970 they have been 4-0. Ahhhhhh, I remember that year well. I was three years old and just finished a mini movie on toilet training. Very successful year for me. Hosted by Chad Weiser, of the Seattle Weiser's.

TSN Superstar from hamiltongbp on Vimeo.

You want to be in my posse. You know you do. Hell, I want to be in my posse. You want to roll with me. As Jim Rome said, "You are who you roll with". Word Up. You know that wherever you go, you will be recognized. Recognized for being cool, phat(not fat), smooth, smart, happenin' (without the g), chillin' (again without the g), and most of all really, really, really, really, neato. Yes, I am bringing Neato back.

Okay, so I still have not gotten Tony on the Podcast. I will, I will. This week I promise. I have been kinda busy, you know being a National TV star and all.

Hmmm, what's next for me? Let's see, big screen twice, Nationwide TV on TSN, and on all the highlight shows all night long (TSN,SNet, and Score). Done all that. Well I guess, next stop is Hollywood. Marty, make some room on your couch, there is a superstar on his way. WHooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!

Oh, and Brett Favre was on the ESPYS this weekend. Nice. He was funny. Oh and the video that they showed was pretty amazing. Made me again realize why he is the greatest.

Here is his appearance...

Okay now GET BACK TO WORK!!!!!

Here is the order for the Entourage Podcasts...

Here is what Sonja Heitsusan, of the Dead Moines Heitsusans, said about my truck getting broken into. Welcome to the dialogue Sonja. It is about time....

Chris –

Long time no talk to. I was reading about the truck break-in. At least the A-hole didn’t steal the entire truck. My car got stolen a year ago. The dude slit the rag-top, stole everything inside (I mean everything, shoes, books, gloves, etc) and told police he picked up a prostitute and had SEX in the car!!! Needless to say, I wished he would have totaled the car, but the police caught him going about 100 MPH down I-235.

So, the moral of this story, it can always be worse. At least you don’t have to power wash the INSIDE of your truck J

Hope all is well -

Sonya Heitshusen

Yup Sonja, I am glad he did not steal the truck. That would have sucked to 8 hours away and not have wheels. As for the cops arresting him for going 100 on I 235, I thought that WAS the speed limit.

Reggie chimed in on the Entourage Podcasts...

I didn’t see Tony Mutz on the list. Considering the situation he is in, it is imperative that a fair man like yourself would put in a placeholder for the time being. Don’t be a dick like Tupac, look where that got him. Dead! Yeah that is right, Ray Lewis didn’t shoot him either.

Also, you visit a friend and subsequently get your “truck” (hauling grain now?) broke into. Sounds pretty suspicious to me, how well do you know Mr. Blashill?

Thanks for allowing me to make the short list, but give up on the I hate the Vikings shit. To you it may be a religious experience, but to me it is an opportunity to get a good nap on Sunday’s during the fall. Yes they are overpaid representatives of our loyalty to the team, but I will be able to walk when I am sixty and they will be zealots of our past entertainment.

I look forward to your litany of questions, however I am concerned with the tone of “smack down” references. If you recall, my role is one of practicality. I don’t smack down anyone for sport.

Finally, because you knew me before I was 18 it is permissible to call me Reggie. All others will refer to me as Reg or Mr. Rudolph. Also, your entourage should have cool nicknames. Like Nordic Man-that is a bad ass nick name, just hope he lives up to it.

Reginal Rudolph, General Manager
McLean Electric Cooperative, Inc.

Thanks Reg, errr Reggie, I hope you get yours during the podcast. You might want to start with the smak because it will help. The bit about Cory sounded suspiciously like smak to me. No I do not haul grain, but I do haul ass. Whoooooooo!!!!! As for Tony, like I said, not sure how to get a hold of him in Iraq. I don't even have his email let alone his digits. I am sure he would hold his own if he was able to participate.

So here it is!!! As chosen by my 5 year old out of my Packer hat given to me by Dwayne Mandrusiak, who got it from Red Beatty the Packers equipment guy. McKenna cannot read much, let alone your names so there was no bias involved in the order that she chose.

So start studyin' your Bon Jovi and your man laws because you are gonna need all your wits about you for this one. Oh, and a bit of Jager might help.

Here it goes...

1. Min Dhariwal
2.
Mike Chaussee
3. Nordic Man
4. Trev Doroshenko
5. Reg Rudolph
6. Derek Venckus
7. Cory Blashill
8. Robby DuPuis
9. Mitch Davis
10.
Marty Frey
11. Chad Weiser
12. Shawn Hauser

Trip to E-Town, Cory lays it on the line, and the Finalists are announced...

Okay, short but sweet. We went to Edmonton over Easter weekend to visit friends and for me to see the Avs play against the Oilers. Good weekend until the last day when some A-HOLE decided he needed to get into the my truck in the middle of the night. That's right some jerkoff thought he needed some of my stuff more than me. He got away with a set of keys, a garage door opener, a zip drive, my keys to the CBC here in Regina, and my sat radio. I only paid 25 bucks for the radio so no big deal. The keys were what pissed me off. Oh well, change a few locks and move on. He will be in jail soon making friends with bubba so he will get his.

Whilst I was at the Avalanche game Cory Blashill, of the Edmonton Blashill's, sat down to discuss the Entoruage and he wanted to get a few things off his chest. Now, some may take Cory's rant as him just calling names, but it is not. Men sharpen Men. Like Iron sharpens Iron. Darius Holland said that once after a fight broke out at Packers Training Camp. Of course Darus Holland lasted one year in the league but his words will resonate forever. As if he was the first one to say it. Cory is just sharpening us up.

CLICK HERE to listen to Cory on TundraTalk. Or just click the link at the top of the page. After Cory did his thing, I decided to put together a bit of a Podcast Entourage Series. I will put together a list of finalists. Which is down below. I will then call each of the finalists and put them through the TundraTalk ringer. You will have to answer the questions correctly to get to make this squad. You will get your own Bon Jovi lyric to interpet, oh, and the rapid fire section is also going to be there.

PLUS you will get your own time to rant. Kinda like the smak off on Jim Rome. TundraTalk's own little smak off. Call the other guys out, call me out, call your momma out, whatever, just get it done. Cool? Cool.

OKAY HERE ARE THE FINALISTS!!!! In no particular order. Get ready for your close up...

Shawn Hauser - Definite front runner
Derek Venckus - Front runner, but could be knocked off with a bad podcast
Nordic Man - Front runner but again the whole wife nomination thing is holding him back
Marty Frey - His spot to lose
Mitch Davis - Nepotisim, nuff said
Cory Blashill - His spot to lose
Min Dhariwahl - Needs to step up but a dark horse
Trevor Doroshenko - Also needs to step up
Chad Weiser - Moved to the front of the pack with his nomination rant
Robby DuPuis - Sleeper who will need to rock the mic
Reggie Rudolph - viqueen fan
Mike Chaussee - Definite long shot but could step up with a big podcast

Okay boys, I will be in contact in the next week to get a time to do the podcast. Now we probably should talk about order that the podcasts are done. Because the first guy is at a definite diadvantage because the rest of the guys can feast on their words. Which is all legal. I guess I will have to do a seeding by drawing names out of the hat. If any one of you wish to drop out let me know now, and be ready for the rest of the boys to damage you quickly. Get ready this is gonna be messy.

Now I have things to do, GET BACK TO WORK!!!!!

The Entourage Competition is back after a brief hiatus...

Okay, I have taken the appropriate time to mourn the loss of Number 4 so it is time to get back to the business at hand. Discussing the important things, the things that really matter in the world. The things that all of you, TundraTalk Nation, are talking about around the water cooler, or keg, whichever type of place you work at. That's right Me picking an Entourage.

Over the past few days the entries have come fast and furious, after a gentle prod. There are a few of you who are dragging your feet, or just waiting to get the last word. Which I might add is not a bad strategy. So either you are lazy or smart, however you choose to look at it. Robby DuPuis, Shane T Keller, Trevor D, and Min, we want to hear from you.

First up this week is Mike Chaussee, Bismarck ND Chaussee's. I worked with Mike at KXMB. My first real TV job. If you can call it that. I still to this day remember Mike standing over the news wire, back when it still was a separate printer that spit out news independantly, and completely going apeshit when the news of Reggie White going to Green Bay came accross. I made fun of him that day. Come to think of it I made fun of him a lot. Like shooting fish in the barrel. Anyway, that was a monumental day, and like some people who can tell you where they were when JFK was shot, or the day of the moon landing, I can tell you that I was in the KXMB news room making fun of Mike Chaussee on the day Reggie White went to Green Bay to lead the greatest team ever to a Super Bowl. Nice. Mike take it away...

Of course I want in.

Here's the deal... first of all I was the one who showed you the way to Green Bay (at least in the NFL spirit kind of way). I'm a Packer fan, and was before you found the light.

Secondly, I'm the original DINGLESCHPUTZ!! That has to count for something. I said 'yes' to Romine. Together we made fun of the entire Reiten family. I listened to you sing that insane Beaver song. We went on stories together in a freakin' drug van (you drove, does that put you in my entourage?). I have now seen the Barenaked Ladies in concert.

And finally, I knew you when you were just a cocky know-it-all with no real experience, and I let you think you knew something anyway. Oh, and I helped end your little crush on Marci Narum (hehe)!!

Mike

Okay, you were doing fine until you mentioned Marci Narum. Wow, there is a blast from the past. We used to make fun of Marci pretty regular. No crush for me. Ughhhhhh, I get bad shivers just thinking about her. Come to think of it we made fun of a lot of people back then. Mike Kopp? He was easy to mess with. How about little Timmy Reiten. Love that guy. Now he is in charge at KX. Big man on campus. No longer the morning cut in guy. That dude is funny. Not sure what the Beaver song was or is. Man I am soooo losing my memory. For the record, yes I was a know it all rookie, but I was a likeable know it all rookie. Just being a Packer fan puts you in the running. Good work, well except the hehe thing. I believe nowadays the kids are using LOL. Come on, get with the times.

Nick Chase, of the US ass kicking attorneys office Chase's, drops some wisdom on me...

Ding, ding, ding

Burgess Meredith: What are we waitin' for?

Nick Chase

Nice Nick, quoting Rocky. I can understand what you are saying. So, Nick, back at ya. How about this one..

"I wake up every morning and piss excellence..." Ricky Bobby

Yup, I love that movie. Lots of things you can learn from Talladega Nights. In fact I think that that will be one of the first movies I put in our super cool SUV limo DVD player for us to watch as we cruise from one happenin' party to the next. That and Red Dawn. NEXT!!!

Next up is old school. In fact most literally, High School Old School. Chad Weiser, of the Microsoft loving Bellevue Washington Weiser's. Chad represents the previous entourage that I had and makes a strong case saying that he was in the original and therefore has really never left. Good point Chad, good point. Take it away...

Well Mr. Peterson,

I am here to be the first to call you an idiot in every paragraph to follow, since that seems to be the most important qualification for your Entourage.

You are clearly the Man and have always been the Man! Idiot! I shudder to think that we took a future war hero through the car wash in my El Camaro, but I guess we were just toughening him up for his future decorated career.

To bolster my candidacy, I want you to remember who had your back way back in the day when your goal in life was to piss off the principal of our High School for personal entertainment. Remember when you wore a zebra outfit head to toe along with American flag shorts over your sweats so everyone at the high school girls basketball tournament knew who was the head referee in the house. Idiot! Questions of your patriotism for wearing a flag on your ass flew around town. Who had your back? That's right, your Homey C-Dub.

I led your Entourage before you knew you had an entourage. Who was writing lyrics by your side for North Dakota's first white boy rap group? Who was writing screenplays and playing best supporting actor in some of your Oscar-winning directorial masterpieces? Idoit! Remember Bonanza, Star Trek Wars, Crossfire, Dance Party. Who sent you love letters when you were away fighting fires? That's right, me and my future wife. We all loved you and still do.

Bottomline is I know this job. I know how to run with the Man, play the game, drink beer, eat Brats, pretend I like the Packers, live with 3 females (not including the cat), and still kick ass. Friendships run deep. You know I got your back and will play my role.

I'm your utility infielder, I can do a little of everything. I'm definitely down with some other Homeys covering the side and back exits though. You always need 5 dudes for any of those potential street fights as well as to control the uncontrollable papparazzi.

If it helps my candidacy, I'll pick up and move from the Emerald City (future former home of the Sonics and current home of your favorite Seattle Seahawks) to the home of our lovely neighbors to the North and next Super Power based on the current trend in exchange rates. Plus, my wife says I need a different job anyway. I will wait for your phone call!

Bud Weiser

Check out that name. Bud Weiser. Yup, being named after a beer, no matter how bad a beer it is, has GOT to give you a leg up. Chad, good work. Being willing to pick up and move also really bolsters your candadacy. Also, if I remember correctly you were there at the time of my LAST fight. That's right, it is all coming back to me now. Main street Hazen. Some a-hole had been calling me out for about a month and I finally decided to take him up on his offer so I stopped got out and picked him up by the shirt, threw him against his car, and was about to pop him in the grill when his buddy hit me in the back of the head, then ran. All the while, you sat in the Escorche watching and getting my back!!! You were on probation from that sordid little incident at Target in Fargo so you could not get in any trouble. IDIOT!!! Yeah, Chad, this is bringing back lots of memories. It is true you were the leader of the original Entourage which included Bryan Powell, Shannon Just, Reggie Rudolph, and sometimes Steve Schoenrock. Yup, you were a natural leading that crew. Plus, you got us tickets to Wrestlemania 19 at Safeco Field. That was huge. Nice job Chad.

Speaking of Wrestlemania, next up is Ivy, of the Moorhead Minnesota Ivy's, who also attended the big show at Safeco...

You know I'd always have your back whether you bought me a sweet ride and let me drive you around Regina as an official Entourage member or not. You've assembled a pretty fomidable assemblage. And of course I would tell you when you are cracked when necessary.

I'm sitting here at my eldest's hockey practice. Still don't and likely never will appreciate this game but he loves it and has some nice skill for his first year. He just slid a forehander in.

You are having a mid life crisis or something. Did you ever find what you were looking for in the first place?

Hope all is well on your end!

Ivy

Okay, glad you took time from your kids hockey practice to respond. That is dedication. BUT, ME, MIDLIFE CRISIS? I think a person first has to be at MIDLIFE before he can do that. I am only, uh, errr, 40. Okay, got me on that one, BUT I am not out buying a Vette. The cool car I want is an 71 El Camino. That does not say Midlife Crisis, it says "I am serious, but I like to party."

Ivy seems to be intimidated a bit by the other competitors so maybe he can be an alternate. Still not sure that saying that I am having a crisis is gonna get you points. Calling me an idiot, yes, crisis no.

We still have a few more people to hear from so this may take a bit more time. PLUS Blashill has indicated that he is working on a prize of sorts for the final list. Something that I do not want to say because I may jinx it. It sounded huge.

So If you have not made your case, get R done, and if you have already made your plea and want to add to it, go right ahead. I think that if someone broke off a video explanation that might be huge. YouTube is where it is at right now. Let me see it.

Now, GET BACK TO WORK!!!!

I am gonna get me an entourage...

Okay, so I have decided to start writing again. No not just here to you the loyal TundraTalk Nation, but another screenplay. Or maybe just a story. I am not sure what has inspired me to do this. I think maybe it has to do with a few things. The other day I was digging around in the furnace room looking for something that I have no idea where it is when I found a box of letters. My Mom and Dad, for some reason decided to keep all the correspondence that I received when I was in school and the Forest Service. Not sure why.

Oh, wait, you remember that don't you. Writing letters? Can you imagine? I used to, apparantly, write a lot of letters. I probably had around 60 letters in this box. Most of them from girls. Now before you start thinking that I am just bragging, don't. These letters were not hot or even warm. They pretty much sucked. Weird thing about it some of the girls I got letters from I cannot for the life of me remember what they looked like or even who they were. Crazy. After reading a few of them I figured out I had a pretty much a form letter that I sent them. Basically describing what I have been up to, a question on what they are doing, and then asking for their phone number and a picture. Seriously, every one of these letters from different girls answered the same questions.

I also got a few letters from Chad Weiser, of the Bellevue Microsoft is satan Weisers, Reg Rudolph, of the Garrison Rudolphs, and Shannon Just, of the not sure where Justs. It must not have been to easy for those guys to write because there were no more than two from each of them. Shannon was so lazy that he even had my mom fill in the address to the Forest Service. Lazy bastard. Letter writing is a lost art, and by the looks of these letters, not to many of my homeboys were artists. Reggie's was good though.

Anyway, I have always wanted to put down on paper my experiences in the Forest Service fighting fire and reading these letters reminded me of some of those stories so I decided to finally start writing it.

So obviously, that leads me to want to put together an Entourage. You know, for when I sell the book or screenplay and have loads of money to just throw away on my homies. I need a support system to keep me real. I know, some of you are saying "What the hell are you talking about Chris. Isn't that what your family is for?" Yes, and no. I like the show Entourage, and I just wanted to go through, what I will call a tryout, or the interview process of putting one together.

A good Entourage consists of four or five dudes. No you can't just put anyone into these spots. I do not want an Entourage that consists of yes men that will just go along with all my lame brain ideas. I need guys who will not be afraid to call me an idiot. Most of the people I have chosen to go on the list would probably step over themselves to call me an idiot so I think I will be okay on that point. After all if you have a group of yes men that usually leads to jail time like Tyson, or Iverson. You know the old saying, "You are who you roll with." Well I guess it is not old but it works.

So I am going to break down a list of potential candidates for my Entourage. I hope no one is offended by not being on this list but trust me I have put a lot of thought into this. This list is in no particular order, just putting it out there. Good luck and here we go...

MARTY FREY - Check the list to the right, whose name is at the top of topics in TT. Marty Freaking Frey. This guy is a frontrunner for many reasons. He is a Packer fan, he sends me stuff, he has major connections, he has been to the Playboy Mansion twice in the past year, he almost burnt me to a crisp for a commercial, and he is usually one of the first guys I can count on to call me an idiot. Marty is also the man who uttered the infamous 'Dee Snider Poker Night Comment'. Which of course is huge. Trump will not work with anyone else in LA and neither would I. Marty this is your spot to lose.

DEREK VENCKUS - Derek made this list on his ability to make me laugh. A dude has got to have a guy to make him laugh in case I have a bad day at the studio because some dumb ass actor will not do what I tell them to. Venckus is also a person who will call me an idiot just for drill. Plus he knows hockey. I needs a guy to talk hockey with. I believe he is a closet Packer Fan. Every Entourage needs a driver, and I have seen Derek drive the NBC 26 mobile commisaries at the Elkhart track in Wisconsin. To quote the great movie Ricky Bobby - "Derek Bobby is not a thinker, Derek Bobby is a Driver." Derek is a definite front runner for one of the spots.

TREVOR DOROSHENKO - Our first Canadian to pop up on the list, Trev is a guy who unfortunatly is a Red Wings fan but makes up for it by tolerating my Packer Talk. Trev is a guy I went to war with at the A-Channel which spawned our charity golf tournament that was a huge success in Edmonton for 6 years. Trev also shows much loyalty to me by following me from Edmonton to Regina. He missed me so much after we left that he could not take living in E-town with out me. That my friends is loyalty. Good on him. Trev also is a guy who is not afraid to call me names if I deserve it. Good luck Trev. Oh and we will forgive him for posing like the Heisman, a college award, at the PRO football hall of fame.

SHAWN HAUSER - Hauser, or Hauserinskinov as he is called in the NHL, starts off well by being a Packer Fan. As you recall from the NFC Championship weekend podcast, he is vital in the Packers success last year. He gives Favre hand signals from the sidelines when Brett does not know what to do. Sweet. Hauser is also a hockey fan (Rangers too bad) and loves beer. You have got to have a guy in your crew who can locate and allocate beer when it is needed. Hauser has these qualities in spades. He was also there on the infamous 'Dee Snider Poker Night Comment'. Hauser has a house full of women, as I do, so hanging with the boys is crucial. Hauser is a very strong candidate.

CORY BLASHILL - Our second Canadian to make the list. Cory, well where do I start with Cory? Lets just say Cory is the goods. If you need something, Cory can get it. If something is broke, Cory can fix it. If you need something to eat, Cory can cook it. If you need a live hit in les than 5 minutes, Cory is your huckleberry. If you need gossip on someone, just pull up a chair. Also if someone is bugging you and you want them to go away, Cory will send them packing. Cory also has the best luck of anyone I know. Plus he has great stories from the road and always drinks with the finest athletes. Oh, and Cory can plan a party like no other. It would be safe to say right now that Cory pretty much has a spot locked up.

ROBBY DUPUIS - Robby, despite living in Minneapolis, is for one the guy who I could count on in my crew to be the voice of reason. You know the one, the guy who keeps us from going into the wrong bars, casinos, or strip clubs. The one who at the drop of the hat could have us in a limo on the way to Vegas. Of course he would get us comped. The only thing about Robby that is holding him back a bit is the fact that he is a fan of the Donkeys and John Elway. As you can see in the picture he is getting his ass handed to him by the Hansen Brothers. Robby knows that the greatest film of all times is Slapshot. Robby could also be the enforcer of the group. Need one of those.

THE NORDIC MAN - First and formost, he has a killer nickname. A must have in a posse. You must have a guy with a nickname. Nordic Man. Now that kicks ass. Secondly, he is our hook up for Packers tickets. This guy ALWAYS comes through for me or my boys. Nordic Man also has a palace in Gillet Wisconsin that is sutiable for many a fine get together. Nordic Man also loves hockey and is willing to tell me to shut up if I need to. The Nordic one is also a man with a house full of women. Guys like us need a lot of QT with the boys. This crew would supply all of that time. Last, but certainly not least, he was also there on the infamous 'Dee Snider Poker Night Comment'. Nice job Nordic Man you are on the list.

TONY MUTZENBERGER - I am starting a new trend with my posse. A war hero. From now on when someone considers putting together an Entourage they will consider a war hero. Tony is down. Now, he may not want to join my posse because he probably is still upset about Chad and me putting him thru the car wash in the back of Chad's El Camino in high school. Maybe he is over it though, we really could use a guy who knows his way around an AK-47.

CHAD WEISER - Speaking of Chad, a person should have at least one of his boys from way back in his crew. Chad has many qualities that would fit in my crew. First and foremost he likes beer. Unfortunately he is a Seahawk fan but he makes up for it by being a Celtics fan. He is also a man who has a house full of women and could use more time with the boys. Chad works for a landscape architecture firm so when I get ready to build the palatial mansion he can design it with everyone's needs in mind so when we all move in we will not feel the least bit uncomfortable. Oh, did I mention that we all have to live in the same house? Required. Deal with it.

NICK CHASE - Nick is on the list because he is the baddest lawyer in the land. He kicks ass and takes names daily. Every posse needs an agent type that knows his way around the law. Nick is this guy. Nick is also a huge wrasslin fan who I personally have sat ringside with. He also attended Wrestlemania 19 with Weiser, Ivy and me. He is a natural leader that can lead the group to all the best deals as well as the best parties. Nick is the go getter that this crew needs. He probably won't join up because he is too busy fighting terrorism, or terrism as W calls it. Too bad, Nick would have fit in well.

SHANE T. KELLER -What would Shane bring to the table? Well, as you can see in the picture he is wearing what is possibly the ugliest thing a person can put on their body. He is a queen fan. I know, why the hell would I put a queen fan in my crew? Well, Shane is a good guy that just has a few flaws. Also every crew needs someone to make fun of. Being a queen fan would give us tons of material. But Shane would not just be the butt of many a joke, he is our hook up to the music business. He has worked in the industry for many years and has tons of connections. Let's say I decided one day that I needed a theme song. Shane could get on the blower and have that done by noon. Shane IS the music industry. So he all but makes up for the fact that he is a queen fan.

MITCH DAVIS - The third Canadian on the list Mitch makes it solely that he is my brother in law. Every Entourage needs some nepotism. Plus if we go to concerts and need ear protection he has the hook up. Tinitus he can help us with also. Nice job Mitch. Way to make the grade. Oh and most importantly, he is a Packer Fan. Mitch is the man.

Okay, there you have it, the front runners for my Entourage. I will note there were some others that had potential. And really, anyone could increase their value between now and when I actually put this thing together. Any one of them could step their game up and knock one of the top contenders out. On the same note the contenders need to keep their game up. No prevent defense here. Keep doing what you are doing. Here is the also rans....

Steve Iverson, Min Dhariwal, Greg Donnelly, Mike Chaussee, Uncle Rayman, Reg Rudolph, Steve Schoenrock, and last but not least, Jason Manning.

Okay, if you are on this list keep doing what you are doing. If you are not on this list and want to be, step it up. Send me a resume, a demo reel, and a list of references. We will see what you can do. Remember there are only 4 or five spots and lots of talent on this list. This is the whos who of TundraTalk.

I'd be interested to hear if you have lists of who you would put in your posse. I wonder how many of those lists I would make. I think I would do okay. Anyway, do not take this list personal, this is strictly business.

Now that I have that out of the way, GET BACK TO WORK!!!!!
