Marty Frey is in? Really? Like that wasn't going to happen.

How did this happen? Two postings in three days? Even bigger, two Entourage members in three days. Amazing.

As you can see by the incredible photo-shopped picture above, Marty Frey is the next member of the posse. I know that I have not given the nomination of Weiser too much room to breathe, but now is not the time to breathe. Weiser and Marty in three days is two pretty good selections if you ask me. It is kinda like the all you can eat buffet at a Chinese resteraunt. You know that fifths is a bad idea, but man, it is that Kung Pao is sooo good.

I first met Marty when I moved to the promised land, Green Bay Wisconsin. Marty was the front man for promotions for WGBA and their news start up. Marty was the man who used to be the calming force of Chris from Green Bay. On days where THE MAN was pushing me down, or some stupid reporter did something stupid. Marty was there. He would join me in the NBC26 commissary (a silver Ford Escort), and we would talk it out. By the end of my sammich and Funyuns, all was good.

Marty was also a founder of the poker club in GB. I still think fondly on those nights when we would be in the Garage drinking beer, smoking cigars, listening to our theme song Asshole on the juke, and playing cards. Hell, Marty is the dude who uttered the immortal words, "I ain't no queer or nuthin', but I would fuck that Dee Snider in the ass." Classic. At that point beer, food, spit, and laughter shot out of mouths and noses. Epic. I believe that photo on the left is shortly after that moment.

Marty almost killed me once. True story. Shooting a commercial in Wisconsin. He had a nice brush pile going on his sisters place and we were going to burn it for 'dramatic effect'. So as it goes when brilliant minds get together, we decided to fuel it up with a nice five gallon pail of unleaded. Guess who the brilliant guy was that lit the fire? Yup, when it went up the fire ran along the ground about 2 or 3 feet behind me. As Marty said, he ain't never seen me move that fast. Here are the commercials...

Ned the Dead promos from hamiltongbp on Vimeo.

Hell, look at the 'Things we discuss" list on the right. Look how many times Marty is mentioned. 56 freaking times. Just below the Stanley Cup and just above the viqueens suck. Marty is a TT legend. He was also along on the epic trip to Lambeau field and the NFC Championship in 2007. Epic weekend of drinking and football.

I guess I could go on and on about the dude, who is the only dude I know who has been to a party at the Playboy Mansion, but I will just turn it over to him and let him drop some knowledge on us...

As I stood in the wings of The Jay Leno Show last night - the final show, by the way - I thought that it was a perfect analogy of what I will bring to the "Peterson Posse". The Stars come and go - they shine for a while and then fade just as quickly... But I was there at the beginning - there for the highs and lows - and still there at the end to mop up the mess and start again somewhere else.

The balancing force that is needed in a posse of such dimensions and personal diversity. I'm there to tell the rest of the idiots the "real way" that the world works and the first one to say "screw it - let's get the hell out of here and grab a beer somewhere"... But also the guy who is the quiet and subversive practical joker - OK, maybe not the quiet part - but definitely devious.

So - in the immortal words of Groucho Marx - "I never want to belong to any club that would have someone like me as a member" - I humbly accept my inclusion into the Peterson Posse, while reserving the right to bitch about how stupid everyone else is and take off on a tangent anytime I damn well please.

There - hows that? Don't like it. I don't care.

Marty

So we now have four members of our crew named. Who will be next? Blashill? Venckus? Doroshenko? Your guess is as good as mine. Stay tuned and maybe I will name them before the year 2020. Yeah, that's gonna happen.

Okay, that is all I got for today. I will drop something else soon. I am also working on that series on the former Green Bay Gamblers and what they are up to. Now,

GET BACK TO WORK!!

The Nordic Podcast is on the air...

Okay, were back and this time with a legend from Green Bay. The Nordic Man takes his shot at TundraTalk the Podcast. As you know I am searching for the right guys to be in my posse. The Nordic One made the short list, not by his application (because his wife sent it in) but by his reputation. That's right, the Nordic One's rep precedes himself by about a mile.

So how did he do? Well you will just have to CLICK HERE and listen for yourself. Or if you want to click the link at the top you can do that also. What was discussed? Well we spoke on a few things. The most important topics were Lederhosen, Knockwurst, and Dee Snider. That's right, The Nordic One remembers the quote verbatim. Nice job.

Next up on the hot seat will be our first in person interview, Trev Doroshenko, of the Regina Doroshenkos. We will see if he can overcome the fact that he did not send in an application to be in. Who knows, maybe he will live the dream.

Okay, now I have to go to work and cover the worst thing ever. Soccer. I hate soccer. It is soooo not a sport. Maybe if I am lucky someone will score a goal. Probably not though.

Now, GET BACK TO WORK!!!

Guess who made the show Americas Game on NFL Network?

First off this week we have some Dee Snider cleanup to do. The response for the contest was great, a few good stories and a couple good ones. I am still taking stories so keep them coming. This story I have for you comes from Deanna Weiser, of the North Dakota Weisers (not to be confused with the Seattle Weisers), She tells us of an athletic Dee Snider from back in the 80's. I love stories from the 80's. The 80's were rough on people. The only thing that would make this story better would be a picture but, alas, in the 80's everyone did not have a phone camera. Here goes...

Chris,

I just want to share my Dee Snyder story with you!!

In 1989 I was a traveling nurse in the east coast. I worked in CT and ME. One weekend my girlfriend and I went to Vermont to ski at Bromley ski resort. We noticed people pointing up to the chair lift and there was this guy with long, blonde, curly hair and a black, one piece ski suit. We found out it was Dee Snider from Twisted Sister. Had heard of him in the early 80's but didn't really know any more than that. Well, he happened to be in front of us by a chair or two on the lift and when he got off to the left, he fell. Well the people in front of us veered to the right and we were forced to go to the left as we got off the lift. He was still on the ground and right in front of me, and I was unable to turn sharp enough to miss him and my skis straddled his and I almost ran into his Butt with my right ski!!! I put my foot in my mouth by saying, "I almost hit your butt with my ski" and was extremely embarrased, but later thought, what is a celebrity doing embarrasing himself by skiing the way he did!!

That's my story for you. Hope you enjoyed it!!

Deanna Weiser

Great story Deanna. For the record you are the last person I would expect to have a Dee story. Just gotta watch out for his butt. It seems that Marty had mentioned it also. Nice of you to capitalize butt also. Either way, the Twisted Sister Guitar pic is on the way. Oh, first I need your address so send it to me.

Now, Ken Reid of the Edmonton Reids, sent me a link for a great Dee Snider story. The only thing is, is that Dee is telling the story.

I must say that picture of McKenna up on the Jumbotron and holdting up signs is one of the coolest things I've ever seen! She may be the chosen one. She could become more powerful than the both of us.

So the NFL Network has been running this series called Americas Game. Basically a countdown of the greatest Super Bowl Champions in history. The other night was number 16, the 1996 Green Bay Packers. I set my PVR and was quite excited to sit down and watch it. By the way, I wonder where the vikings are on that list. Oh yeah, that's right, they have never won it so they must be around ZERO. vikings suck.

AG Banner

Anyway as I am watching the show, which chronicled the year that they won it. I was watching it with my brother in law, Mitch Davis, of the Regina Davis', and they came to the presser when Brett said he was addicted to painkillers and was going to rehab. I was just telling Mitch that I was there, when they showed a reverse shot of all the cameras there and, BINGO, right in the middle, yours truly. See if you can see me in there. Donna looked at it and could not pic me out. I must look a bit different now.

Here is a closer shot. That is me on the left...

Awesome. Have a look at the video...

But it gets better. Later in the show they showed the footage of Brett Favre, Frankie Winters, and Don Beebe going Trick or Treating at Mike Homgren's house. Of course, I was the guy who shot that. They did about 10 minutes of the show on this. I was blown away. Here it is...

Halloween on Vimeo

It was so cool to see myself and my stuff on a network show. A network show about the greatest football team ever, the Green Bay Packers. A double whammy. It truly was a good Christmas. Which I will mention that I got some killer Packers stuff for the 'Packers Spare Bedroom' that I built in the basement. So if you visit, and encourage you all to do so (especially those of you who are viqueens fans), you will get the luxury of sleeping on Packers sheets and pillows, all the while being comforted by the Packers green walls and Packers borders. I rule.

FINALLY: The Packers have a shot this week at the playoffs. They have to beat da Bears. I believe, because we all know that the BEARS STILL SUCK. Here is a pic courtesy of Trev and the season opener at Lambeau.

Enjoy...

Dee Snider Rocks the Tonight Show...

deesing

So as earlier reported here on TundraTalk, Dee Snider and Twisted Sister recorded a Christmas record. I know that the TundraTalk Nation is very interested in Dee Snider and all his doings. I recently found out that Dee Snider once wrote a Christmas song for his wife back in the nineties. Guess who recently recoreded that song? Celine Dion. That's right, Celine Dion recorede a Twisted Sister song. I wonder if she knows that?

tonight-show

Oh well, Dee and the boys made the trip recently to LA to do the Tonight Show. As you know a good friend of TundraTalk, Marty Frey, works for NBC in Burbank. I think you can see where this is going. Well, Marty, as you all know is the man behind the infamous 'Poker Night Dee Snider' comment. Legendary night. Sent tremors throughout the force. Anyway, Marty knew that the Nation would be wanting as much information as possible so he took notes. First off he sent me this email detailing his encounter in the NBC Commisary. Not the WGBA NBC commisary which consisted of a Ford Escort wagon. Here is what happened...

So I was in line behind Dee Snider at the commissary for lunch today - I tried very hard not to look at his butt... He had the tenderloin tips in gravy over Alfredo noodles - but nearly everyone else in the band and crew ordered cheeseburgers... He was talking with some of his guys so I couldn't just barge in, but my friend over at The Tonight Show is going to try and get you a pick or something when they are in rehearsal... I'm taping the rehearsal right now, so they aren't in full makeup and costume - but they are still a frightening looking bunch..

Marty

That's right, you heard it here first. Dee had the tenderloin. Another TundraTalk exclusive. Shortly after this happened, back here in Edmonton, my phone rang. All I heard on the other end was 'O Come All Ye Faithful' sung to the tune of 'We're not Gonna Take It'. Marty was holding his phone up to the rehearsal. Nice. Said rehearsal is available for you, the loyal Nation to witness below. Enjoy. Please do not download and send this to your friends. This is just for you, the TundraTalk Nation.

CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE AWESOMENESS (the audio starts when the curtain rises)

Marty did not stop there...No way. He is truly a TundraTalk Nation Patriot. He made sure that after Dee left the stage he had a co worker get some TS guitar pics. That's right, straight from the set of the Tonight Show. Stay tuned for an awesome contest for you to become a TT Patriot and earn yourself one of those fab Prize...

Wendy
WENDY RULES!!!

Awesome! Wendy managed to grab a handful of picks for you... She's the one wearing the big white sweater that you see just before and after the rehearsal..

pick

Thank you Wendy, you are a new adopted patriot. As Marty walked over to 'pic' up the bounty, he managed to snap a pic of Dee and the drummer waiting outside the studio. Have a look...

smoking

Here is a quick picture of Dee Snider and his drummer laughing it up outside the Tonight Show.. I managed to snap this on my phone as I was walking over to grab a pick for you from the staging guys..

Apparently it would have been funnier if I had been there just a few minutes earlier as the crew guys told me that Dee was standing directly underneath the NO SMOKING sign - while smoking...

Take a close look in the photo, that is the front end of Jay Leno's Cobra they are in front of. Can it get any better than that? Oh yes it can. Marty emailed me said that he managed to get a copy of the Twisted Christmas CD for me. Not just any copy of the CD but the one that Jay used on the set to introduce the band. SWEET!! Marty truly has gone above and beyond the call of duty.

JayCD
That's my CD

Now some of you might be thinking that there is a bit of an obsession going on here and that maybe we should seek some professional help. I beg to differ. The Nation has spoken in the past when the most popular post in TT history was the one detailing the infamous 'Poker Night Dee Snider' comment. Go back and read it if you do not believe me. April 28th, 2005, entitled 'Poker Fever', have a look. I recieved more comments on that one than any other. Well besides the 'Jacket' post, which I am trying to forget. So what does a good marketer do? Plays to what the TT Nation wants. You stood up and told me that Dee Snider is what you want read about so that is what I am giving you.

deewide

On a similiar related note, as I was dumping the Jay Leno performance into the computer McKenna said that Dee Snider scared her and that she wanted me to turn it off. "He's scary daddy." Now that is funny. That is why we like Dee. In a strange way he scares us but we still have to look. Kinda like a car wreck on the highway.

groupDee
That is Dakota Fanning in the front

Now that I have that out of the way, I want to announce a new contest. That's right, TundraTalk is launching our first contest. To win one of those glorious TS guitar pics, I want you, the Nation, to send me your best Metal band brush with greatness story and/or picture. If you have a great pic of yourself from the 80's wearing Spandex, Shane I am speaking to you, send it and we will share it with the Nation. For example...

Reid and Neil two

That is a piture of Ken Reid, of the Edmonton Reids, with Vince Neil of Motley Crue. Here is his story to go along with the pic. Oh and by the way, this is only an exhibition, please, no wagering...

It was february 0f 2005. The great motley crue had just began their much anticipated reunion tour. Wasting no time, two of my best friends flew from Boston to join me in Ottawa to see the crue early in the tour. The show was on a Sunday - on Saturday I headed to work while my friends headed to the lobby of the Chateau Laurirer to catch a drink. (They wanted to class things up after an afternoon at Hooters) at around 6:10 I got a call "VINCE NEIL IS IN THE BAR - GET UP HERE." I had a cast to do at 6:20 - with the show over at 6:30 I sprinted the 2 blocks to the Chatuea Laurier. Entering the hotel bar I saw my giddy friends, staring like school girls at the great Vince. Whispering at one another - they had yet to approach the great mr. Neil. Wasting no time - I ordered shots of Jack for the boys and Vince, appraoched Vince - asked him about the show - told him we were going to be there. Then Vince asked if he COULD HAVE HIS PICTURE TAKEN WITH ME! Actually, that last statement is not true but it amuses me. I asked to have our pic taken with vince, "no prob" his roadie took this lovley photo. one rock star - one dude who wears too much pink.

It is that easy. Depending on how many pics I recieve in the mail, depends on how many winners we have. Of course one of the pics will stay here with yours truly. Go to it and give it your best shot.

This Pic could be yours!!!

Lots of catching up to do, Dee Snider, AND a new rant...

zamtwo

As long time TundraTalk readers you will know the legend of the Hamilton Sweater. For those of you who are new to the fold, I will enlighten you with the legend that is THE Hamilton Sweater. I had a Green Bay Gamblers game worn that was my most prized possesion. I had many good memories in that sweater. I shot a commercial, drove the Zamboni, jumped in lake Michigan on Jan first, sat ringside for a WCW saturday night show, saw my first Colorado Avalanche game, and saw many dominant performances of the Gamblers. That is the sweater in the picture above.

Now you may wonder why I speak of the Hamilton in third person. Well, it is important to recognize the dominance of the sweater. When a person, me, pulls that sweater over his head he becomes another person. A person that can strike fear in any player wearing an opposing teams colors. A person that can lift a section in a hockey rink to new heights of spirit and just outright loudness. When in the presence of the Hamilton Jersey it was truly an awe inspiring experience.

It was number 12, worn and signed by Ryan Saverine, customized for Hamilton. I wore this sweater to to an Oilers playoff game in 2001. As I was working I got warm, so I took it off and buried it under a pile of cables near my gear. I came back 10 minutes later and it was gone. Devastation. I was in mourning for weeks. When news of this hit Gambler Nation, there were public outcries, public wakes, and just the feeling of loss.

Flash forward to 2005, young Matt Greene, a Gambler alumi, sat down next to me in the press box. We began to swap Brown County Arena Stories. He told me about the crazy fans in Section A & B and how that dude with the Kocur sweater was crazy and I told him the tale of the Hamilton Sweater. He was moved, so moved that he offered to get his game Gambler Sweater out of his closet in Michigan and offer it to the hockey gods as a gift to Hamilton himself. I of course accepted his offer.

Well on Friday Matt Greene made the hockey gods very happy. He presented Hamilton with a new flag to fly. Matt Greene is truly a patriot. Have a look at the presentation below.

DSC02362
Matt Greene rules!!

So here is a big thank you to Matt Geene formerly of the Green Bay Gamblers and now of the Edmonton Oilers. You, my friend are truly a great person to ease the pain of Hamiltons loss.

Now don't get me wrong, I am not just pushing Hamilton era aside for the Greene era, Hamilton will always have a place in hockey legend and lore. This is just a start of a new era of hockey domination. Watch out, here we come!!! Oh and one more thing, the day I see the dude who swiped the Hamilton, I will beat the snot out of this dude, then I will get mad.

DSC02363Damn I look good

NEXT: I got an email from the Nordic Man, a man who truly knows the power of the Hamilton sweater, the other day and he of course had to bring up one of the most popular topics on TundraTalk, Dee Snider...

"Dee Snider on Celebrity Duets
I don't know if you get that show from the US, Celebrity Duets? But this week they had Dee Schneider on. I could not stop laughing thinking about the infamous quote from poker night. Then you see Little Richard behind him while he was singing and LR was just staring at Dee's ass."

So I did some searching and found a link to the actual performance...

CLICK HERE TO WATCH DEE SNIDER ROCK OUT, KINDA...

NEXT: I have a bit of a rant for you today...I went to a rock show the other night. Danko Jones was the rocker in question and yes, he did rock out. That dude plays rock and roll like it is supposed to be played. Full out, no holds barred. That is not what I want to rant about but I do have a bone to pick about something that happened on the way in.

I was waiting in line out front, right there I am already on my way to grouch, lines suck. After about 15 minutes of listening to the two brain dead girls in front of me talk about a party they were having and how they needed to get someone to buy them booze for the party, we get to the front. The muscle head that was looking at the I.D.'s asked for the brain dead's I.D.'s. That is when it hit me, the girls in front of me were minors, I was excited that I was going to witness the old, "I left my I.D. in the car" routine. Nope, they had 'em with them. Sweet, now I was going to get to see them bounced for having bad I.D.'s. I glanced at the cards as they handed them over, I was then really gonna love this because the pictures looked NOTHING like the girls. Musclehead took the cards, looked at the girls, and promptly LET THEM IN!!! Man, why was it not that easy for me when I was too young? Oh yeah, I did not have breasts.

So he takes my card and does not even look at it then informs me of the mandatory coat check. Which I guess is not so bad, but then I see the sign above that says "Mandatory Coat Check. Two Dollars" WHAT? First you make me stand in line, then you make me give you my coat, and charge me for it. Uh uh. I ask said musclead why I needed to give them my coat. He said because management says so. So I asked him why? He repeated the management BS again, three times. I of course loving a good arguement, pushed again. Why? He said it was for my own safety. What, so I can be safe from my own jacket?

If you are going to pull the 'safety' card I am okay with that, but don't charge me two bucks to do it. I of course went on to inform him that his management were not at all concerned with our safety but with lining his own pocket with money for nothing. What a total rip job. I wanted to go to the show, so I gave them my money, AND my coat, and went inside.

After I relayed this story to Donna later she said, "Man you are getting old." Okay, she is right, but I would have argued about that BS even back when I was 21. I suck. I am old.

The show was awesome though, and I was this close earlier in the day to getting him for the podcast. I just got to the radio station too late. Oiler practice took to long.

NEXT: I would also like to mention that when I was parking for the show I had to parallel park. Which reminded me that I am the greatest parallel parker in the world. NO ONE could touch me in my senior class, no one can touch me now. In fact I would issue the challenge that if anyone would like to take me on, bring it. That includes anyone from my senior class Hazen High 1986. As Garner Andrews, a good friend of TundraTalk would say, I am the Wayne Gretzky of parallel parking. How does that taste. NO ONE CAN TOUCH ME.

DSC02371

Opening night at the rink. It is still hard to believe that the NHL has started again already. It seems like just yesterday that we were in Anaheim. The Oilers won and my live hit went off with out a hitch.

Yes that is a new mic monkey, long story that I do not want to go into right now. Her name is Christy Chorley and she used to work at City TV in Edmonton. You might also recognize her name from something else, and that is a long story that I will not even touch. Except to say it is not true.

Have a nice day and a good weekend.

Dee Snider is in the house....

dee
Dee Snider, I'd, uh, nevermind

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to TundraTalk, BANG, Dee Snider rears his ugly head. Marty will love this one. Last year he played one of the stages at what was then called, Klondike Days. Some may think, "Wow, Dee Snider is awesome. I would love to see him in a small venue." Well yes it was small. One of the local stations took the time to interview him. Of course a big star like Dee Snider loves to do media.

Well, have a look at what he said. This dude is really funny. For the record he did apologize for what he said. I don't think he needed to, but you know Dee Snider has a rep to keep up so he did some spinning.

Enjoy....

Oh and it is only 9 days until the new Peterson comes into the world, so get ready for greatness. Also 15 days until I take the oath for citizenship of Canada. For all those who plan to attend, it is at 9am at Canada Place. I am registered at Canadian Tire for those of you who would like to bring gifts.

Have a nice day and a great weekend and GET BACK TO WORK!!!!

Phoenix was nice....

selfport

Hello, this is a pic of Jordi and me when we were in Phoenix on Monday. Self Portrait. I love those. Yes I know there is a cactus growing out of Jordi's head but I meant to do that.

Before I get into the week that was I have an email to share with you. It comes from the Nordic Man who was also there when Marty uttered those infamous words....

nordinme018
Nordic One and me at the Vikes game.

"Chris,

I finally got around to reading the love for the last two weeks. I couldn’t help but roll on the floor laughing my ass off. To this day I still can’t play poker without listening to Dennis Leary “Asshole” on the way there or if it is at my house during the game. It is a must! to start it off. Also the Dee Snider comment haunts me every time I play cards. At one point that night I thought my lungs had collapse and tore every muscle in my gut. The timing for that comment could not have been any more perfect. Thank you Marty for scarring me for life! I really do miss cards with you guys. It just isn’t the same, no matter how many pretzels, dorritoes, funyons, dip, etc... you eat and drink.

NordicMan"

MMMMMMMMMM Funyuns. I had the opportunity to partake of a bag of the 'Man Snack' this week. It is like heaven on earth. Jordi passed on the Funyuns though. Wuss. Whenever I go to the states always at the top of my list is to hit a store and get Funyuns, Dakota Kids (if I am in ND), Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch, and YoHoo. All things that I cannot get here in Siberia.

Funny thing though, the only one we haven't heard from about the "Dee Snider Incident" is Hauser. He must be really F'd up about that. Good job Marty.

McKennacereal

In fact I brought two boxes home with me on this trip of PBCC. McKenna loves it.

Okay. Let's take care of the birthdays for may. First off this month is Sonya Heitsusan. A fine Reporter who works at a Dead Moines station called WHO.

Sonya Heitsusan 1
Happy Birthday Sonya, May 8th

Second in line we have Derek Venckus Scmenkus. He works as a flack in Tennessee. Memphis I believe. Used to work at NBC 26 in Green Bay.
venckus
Venckus birthday is on May 24th.

Marty also has a May birthday, so Marty, on May 17th, I tip one for you pal. Happy birthday. Stay away from Dee Snider.

Last but not least, Jordi Weidman my partner in crime for the Score had a birthday on Tuesday, while I believe I spent the longest day travelling ever. Airline travel just plain sucks.

jordicactusone
Happy Birthday Jordi.

So back to business. We went to Phoenix on Sunday, to cover the Steve Nash MVP of the NBA conference. It was very short notice and we weren't there very long but it was nice. We got to interview Steve Nash, and go to game one of the second round of the playoffs. Now, you may ask "why did those lucky bastards get to go to that?". Well I will tell you. Since Steve is Canadian, everyone in Canada really cares. There were almost more Canadian media there than local. It was kinda madhouse. Steve Nash was a nice guy, the weather was about 90-100 degrees both days, and I got to see the Phoenix Gorilla dunk. Very cool.

We stayed at my parents resort house. My parents 'winter' in Phoenix. Yeah, lucky. So that is basically why I went. If we would not have had free lodging, Chris would have stayed in Siberia. Lucky I have connections in the states. Let that be a warning for all of you in the states. If something big in the sports world is going on in your town, you better believe that I will be pushing to go because I can stay for free at your house. Believe that.

On our way back we had to fly to Denver, wait for almost two hours, fly to Calgary, sit for another two, and then fly to Edmonton. Bad enough we had to be IN Calgary, but we had to sit for two hours while they had 'mechanical' problems. I hate Calgary. Anyway, since it was such a wonderful trip I thought I would treat you to a slide show.

Without further ado.....MY TRIP TO PHOENIX....

Okay now to the game. This is a pic of the Mavs bench. The guy with the green shirt standing up is Mark Cuban the owner. He is yelling at the team. I took this from a long way away so, okay, I suck.

OCC
Here is the Gorilla's Harley. I believe that it is a OCC bike. Made by the Tutels. I wonder if they almost missed their deadline on that bike. Oh wait, that is what they do on EVERY bike. Discovery channel joke. I am really grasping at straws.

gorilla
The Gorilla. Rick Reilley did a story in SI just a couple of weeks ago about him. One mascot that I do not mind.

sunsations2
This one is for the Fellas. The Phoenix Sunsations. Enjoy, if it wasn't so out of focus. I suck.

stern
David Stern holding a press conference. The Canadian media can get hockey out of anyone. He briefly spoke on the NHL. Amazing how obsessed Canada is with Hockey.

seatgame
Here is the media seating at the game. That screen in front had real time stats on it. Pretty amazing. Great seats for the game. Those lousy media scumbags taking up good seats that fans should have. I had a pass for the floor, but I did not use it because we had a early flight and I had packed the camera away. Loser.

jordiwork
We did actually work while we were there. Here is Jordi writing his story. No really. We did not pose this picture up, we actually did work.

fleming
Finally this is a pic of us in Calgary with Sean Fleming. He is the kicker for the Edmonton Eskimos. CFL. He hates Calgary also.

Well that is all I have for you today. I hope you enjoyed the pics. I certainlly had a good time taking them, even though I am bad at it.

Have a good day and GET BACK TO WORK!!!
