Friday more of the same...

Scrum in the mix zone

Okay, I know that the Oilers and 'Canes have nothing new to say since yesterday, but I guess we need to feed the beast so they make the athletes available so we can ask them the same questions as we did yesterday. As you can see from the picture above Hamish joined the scrum today and used my step stool. Hamish is, on a good day, about five foot tall, so on the bad days in scrums like this he either stands right in front of me or borrows the stool so he can almost be as tall as the rest of us.

Athletes perspective

In case you were wondering what it feels like to be on the other end of a scrum like this, well here it is. Kinda intimidating, I don't really know how those boys do it. All the lights and cameras. This was a small scrum so it wasn't as bad as it can get.

Ice level

I found this piece of plexi in the boards at the zamboni entrance today. Nice ice level shot. Cool as hell. If I had known it was there I would have used it before this. Oh well.

Big game tomorrow, game 6. I hope that the Oilers come to play. It would be nice for them to force a game 7.
