Stanley Cup Playoffs and Robby makes the final spot...

entourage_final_Robby

Okay, I know it has been a long fricking time. You know when life just overtakes you and you just feel like you have way too much to do? Well that was not me, I just have been very lazy and instead of taking care of you, TUNDRATALK NATION, I was just doing my thing. Yeah I know I suck. But really, here I am. Back and better than ever. Just in time for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I need to be here for you during this time of year so you can take my advice and call your bookie and make your bank for the next year. Really, if that is all I am good for, that is pretty damn good. I make you money. Word, as the kids say.

Before I get to that, I have a little bit of business to take care of. The Entourage search, which I started around two years ago has finally come to an end. I know some of you have been waiting with baited breath and are probably a bit pissed it has taken so long. Well, you can just chill out. Putting together a posse is not something you do overnight. You can't just throw a group of dudes together without doing your due diligence or it could really backfire in your face. Just look what happened to McCain when he added that dim bulb Palin to his campaign. Boom.

So here he is the last member of the posse. Robby DuPuis. Congrats Robby. On getting into the posse AND having a kid last week. Evi Marie DuPuis was born last week and I just want to ask Robby, are you sleeping much? By the way, your life is over. Start studying up on the Disney Princesses and Barbie. You are done like dinner. Feel free to send him a line and congratulate him.

Robby is a dude, with whom I first encountered at the Mighty Minot State University. He was, and still is, one of the finest radio broadcasters to have ever lived. Well, short of Howard Stern and Me. We collaborated on many a project and took the broadcast world by storm. In fact we worked on so many classic advertisements that they talked about waiving the age requirement on the Advertisement Hall Of Fame to put us in immediately. But, us, being the completely humble and modest, told them no. I mean the talent and creativity was off the charts. Just CLICK HERE and have a look at the Robby and Chris Connection. Really, who can ever forget the great Dakota Farms ad? I know I can't. Or how about the abstract beauty of the Music Syndicate Ad? Amazing.

But alas, all good things must come to an end. There was a major tremor in the Farce. This tremor shook the world. Robby moved on to Austin Texas to chase ambulances and I moved to Dead Moines to also chase ambulances. The end of an era. The ad world mourned. Robby and I kept in touch but it just wasn't the same.

Until NOW. Now Robby joins the greatest Entourage in the world and the magic will happen again. Well, at least as soon as I win the lottery or my screenplay gets picked up. It will happen. Trust me. Robby now lives in Minneapple and is married with a kid. He still chases ambulances, but I know, in the back of his mind, he longs for the days of thinking up stupid shit so some jag off in a suit can sell a product. I know, that if he had the chance to once again do a commercial for a dry cleaner store that the client INSISTED that his 4 kids (and their dog) be in and it has to be 'different'. He would jump at the opportunity. I just know it. Until then my posse will have to do.

Robby, let us know how you feel...

I was vacuuming the carpet... er, polishing my '67 GTO when I got the life-changing call that I was the final member to be inducted into the TT Entourage. I had to put down my PBR and crack open another to celebrate and regain my composure.

I'm not sure how I've come to receive this high honor, but I assume it has something to do with my willingness to hide Chris' past illegal discretions from the authorities. Of course as a member of the Entourage, that privilege extends to my fellow Entouragers.

As a member of the Entourage I reserve the right to give any of my fellow members a hard time about anything I see fit (especially being a viqueens fan), while making sure we're having just enough fun to stay out of serious legal trouble weather it be over-the-top questionable behavior or just good clean fun.

That's all I have to say. If you don't like it, screw you.

Peace,
Rob (Robby) DuPuis

Thanks Robby, nice to hear from you. Now for those of you in this great posse. The waiting is over. It is time to start working. Make this happen. I am doing all in my power to get us all together for an event that will end all events. Being in this group is not just a title. It is work. It is honor. It is beer. For those of you not in the group, it is okay. You still are a member of TundraTalk Nation. Not an easy group to be in. TT Nation is an elite group of individuals who walk the walk and talk the talk. Now, get it done.

The Stanley Cup Playoff picks...

Okay, now the Preacher sent me an email this morning with his picks, which are as usual, lousy.  Why do you care?  Well, it was the impetus (I know big word) to get me off my ass and get a post up on TundraTalk.  So I guess Preacher is good for something.    Without further blabbering on by me I will get right to it.  Sorry about the italics, I cannot seem to get them to stop.

EASTERN CONFERENCE PLAYOFFS

Washington Captials (1) vs. New York Rangers (8)

Although the Rangers have tended to give the Caps fits I am going to take Ovetchkin and the boys on this one because they have overcome a lot this year to get where they are now.  I am thinking this is the year that Ovetchkin does not disappear and has a decent playoffs.  Sorry Hauser, Caps in 6.

Philidelphia Flyers (2) vs. Buffalo Sabres (7)

I am not a Pronger guy.  Hate him.  He is a big time douchebag.  Almost to the level of Douchmidity that Brent Favre has.  Philly is tough though.  I would love to see the Sabres pull this one out of a hat and get it done for Randy Hawke.  I know that dude is still reeling after the crap that was pulled by DallASS back in the day.  I just don't think they Sabres have it in them.  I want them to, I just don't think it is there.  I hope I am wrong...Philly in 7.

Boston Bruins (3) vs. Montreal Canadiens (6)

Screw Montreal.  Boston in 4.

Pittsburgh Penguins (4) vs. Tampa Bay Lightning (5)

Tampa has a lot of talent on that team.  Loaded.  BUT is their goal tending enough to push them through?  Also can the pretty boy scorers on the Bolts survive the pounding the boys from Pitt are gonna give them?  I think not.  I know it is tough to pick the Pens without Sidney, but I am gonna.  Pittsburgh in 6.

WESTERN CONFERENCE PLAYOFFS
Vancouver Canucks (1) vs. Chicago Blackhawks (8)

This is the series everyone wants to see.  The Sedin sisters versus the reigning champs.  We all know that the sisters disappear in the playoffs.  They have always seemed soft.  Like they go and play with their Barbies right after every game.  I hate those guys.  BUT the Hawks barely even got into the dance.  BUT they also seem to have the Canuckleheads number in the playoffs.  Will this be the year they get over the hump?  Donnie Granato thinks so.  He is scouting for them this year and it seems to be working since they are the Presidents Trophy winners.  I hate to pick against Donnie, EVER.  So I won't.  This pains me to do this, but, Canucks in 6.  I feel like I just put on a skirt or something.

San Jose Sharks (2) vs. Los Angeles Kings (7)

The Sharks are another of those teams that just have it tough in the playoffs.  They have tons of skill and grit but they seem to leave it in the locker room during the post season.  The Kings on the other hand have lost two of their best players, their goaltending is iffy, and they play in Los Angeles.  BUT they have Matt Greene a former Gambler and Fighting Sioux on their team.  Jarret Stoll, a TundraTalk Podcast vetran is on this squad.  Smytty, of the famous Ugly Jacket Scandal is also on the Kings.  You know what, I cannot go against a Gambler.  Kings in 7.

Detroit Red Wings (3) vs. Phoenix Coyotes (6)

You know how much I hate the Wings.  The test is do I hate the Wings more than I hate the whole situation in Phoenix.  Bettman the tool still is allowing that whole fiasco in PHX to carry on.  That team needs to move north, and move fast.  I hate that they can hold this team hostage for 35 fans in Arizona when it could move north and have a full building every night.  Screw Phoenix.  Oh this hurts.  Wings in 4.

Anaheim Mighty Ducks (4) vs. Nashville Predators (5)

This sucks. I hate both these teams.  Is there a way they both could be eliminated?  I wish.  Nashville in 6.

Well there you have it.  Call your bookie.  Bet the house.  Money in the bank.

Now if you want to see what losing picks look like here are the Preacherman's...

Chicago – Vancooter
With players like former Waterloo Blackhawk Andrew Alberts, Omaha Lancer Keith
Ballard, Michigan god Jeff Tambellini, GB Gambler Vic Oreskovick, the Sedin
sisters, and a good goalie, Vancooter is a quite talented team.  Too bad they
drew defending Cup champs.  Even without Adam Burish and Buff, the Hawks still
have the greatest Fighting Sioux ever in Jonathan Toews.  They had a scare
almost missing the playoffs but they are peaking at the right time.  They are
still the champs and know how to win.
Hawks in 6

Kings – Sharks
To borrow a DX catch phrase ... Hey Kings, I have two words for ya … Joe
Pavelski.  Sorry Davis and Tree, you don’t have a chance.
Sharks in 4

Rangers – Caps
Kinda like the above series.  The Rangers suck and hopefully Derek Stephan gets
traded to a better team.  Alexander the Great will conquer New York.
Caps in 4

Sabres – Philly
I think this is going to be a great series.  Both teams have players that know
what it takes to win the cup, do what it takes to win the cup, and been
there/done that.  I would love to see the Sabres win but Philly has a bit more
grit.
Philly in 7

Nashville – Anaheim
To be honest with you, I haven’t seen either of these teams all season.  Totally
clueless.
Anaheim in 6

Habs – Boston
I love seeing the Habs in the playoffs.  The have great talent especially in
Mike Cammalleri.  But they ran in a better team in Boston and an even better
goalie in Tim Thomas.  If Thomas were in net for team USA, they would have won
the gold in the Olympics.
Boston in 5

Tampa Bay – Penguins
Teams from Florida don’t belong in hockey playoffs, go away.  Even without God’s
gift to hockey, Sidney Crosby, the Pens wont have much of a challenge.  Way too
talented.
Penguins in 5

Phoenix – Detroit
Seriously?  Didn’t they move to Vegas yet?  Don’t rush back Zetterberg, rest
until next series.  Hopefully Bertuzzi pounds that little punk Turris into
nothingness.ONLY 16 MORE GAMES UNTIL THE STANLEY CUP COMES BACK HOME TO
DETROIT!!!

NOW GET BACK TO WORK!!!!

Thursday, February 05, 2009

I gots too much on my mind...

I can not concentrate on work right now. I know, I work in TV, there is not too much to concentrate on. Screw off. I work just as much as the next guy, it is just in TV you spend a lot of time waiting then when it is time to work, it is fast, intense, and non stop. Get 0ver yourself and your desk job.

Anyway, I am just a bit over 48 hours until I meet the Nature Boy Ric Flair. The 60 minute man, the leader of the most Elite wrestling organization EVER in the history of history, the Four Horseman. This is huge. I have sooooo much to think about. I will mention right now that I got a note on Facebook from PJ Stasko, of the slinging hooch in Alberta Staskos, that he will also be attending the show. Nice job PJ way to man up.

Okay, here is one of the things that I need to think about. This is so big, I do not want to do this wrong. This could have ramifications that could affect the space time continium let alone many other things. What the hell am I going to wear to the show? Seriously. Do I wear my Wrestlemania 19 shirt? Nah, there will be a lot of dudes there with black shirts on so I don't want to be just another jerk with a black shirt on. I know I am not going to wear my championship belt. I will NOT be that guy. I personally don't think I should ever wear it unless I won it. Kinda like the Stanley Cup. Don't drink from it until you win it.

What the hell do I wear? Do I wear my new AJ Hawk Packers jersey? Nah, that is crossing sports. It would be acceptable to wear a Pack jersey if I was going to an event that was held in Green Bay, but this is in Edmonton, so no go with the Pack jersey. Really, what the hell am I gonna wear. Maybe I need to go shopping when I get to E Town and find something appropriate.

This is a tough one, but not as tough as the next one. How do I pose in my pic with Ric? Do I give my trademark thumbs up pose, or pay homage to the Horsemen with the four fingers up? This is so tough. I really have some big decisions to make. I mean, really, in most of my brush with greatness photos I have done the thumbs up thing. It is my thing. Please do not copy it because I would hate to have to call my lawyer and sue your ass.

So do I break with such a time honored tradition to give the four fingers? It is a picture with the greatest Horseman of all times. He is the leader of the Horsemen. I bet if I give the four fingers he will also. That would be cool. But then it would be a break in tradition. Do I give the four fingers up on one hand and the thumbs up on the other. Wow, do I dare put my arm around him like I did with the Rock? Do I dare touch his 'custom made head to toe' Armani suit? This is so hard to decide.

You may be laughing right now at all this, but please do not. This is very serious. This picture will hang with honour in my man cave. Blown up big and framed really nice. You know, every thing looks better framed. That phrase is also Trade Marked so don't try to steal it. Probably hung somewhere near my autographed Brett Favre game ball. Huge deal. I am sooo stressed right now. I should be excited, which I am, but I should not be stressed.

Along the picture lines, my digital camera is getting a bit old and unreliable. I do not want to hand my camera to some jerk off to capture this momentus occassion only to come away with a blurred out crappy pic. That would be tragic. I need to find someone who will loan me their good camera for a few days so that I make this magic moment last forever. Oh yeah, I need to learn how to run said camera so I don't F that up. My head is gonna explode. Maybe Blair has a good camera? I could take my 35 mm camera. I know that will take a good picture. BUT then I have to develop the film and that means that I cannot post the picture within 10 minutes of me taking it. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

On top of those two whammys, I have to decide what to get autographed. The Belt is a no brainer. I have a replica World Heavyweight Championship Belt that I purchased during a weak moment in front of QVC back in 1999. It has Ric's name on it and I have wanted to get it auto'd for a long time. I hope there is no restrictions on what he will autograph because I want this bad. I also have a really cool WCW promo photo of Flair in his robe that would be cool, his book would be cool, the (never opened) box set action figures of the Four Horsemen would be cool, and maybe even a DVD. Choices. Choices. Choices. If I am only allowed one, it will be the belt. If they only allow what they have to get auto'd, that will suck.

THEN there is the whole thing about the question. What am I gonna do about that? As the great Chevy Chase said in the movie Vacation just before he jumped into the pool with a naked Christie Brinkley, "This is crazy, this is crazy, this is crazy...". I have a few narrowed down, but am still a bit torn on what to ask him. I am thinking of recording the whole show on my iPod so as to share a bit from it with you.

Oh and speaking of you. Thanks for all your great help in this question thing. Not one suggestion. Not even a smartass one from Robby like "Ask him if he likes wrestling with men in his underwear?". Nothing. In my time of need, you TundraTalk nation, give me nothing. I know you read my post because I have a site counter. I keep track of if you read it or not. After all the time wasting material I have given you over the years, you come up with nothing in the most critical time of need. Dammit!!! I need your help!!! You sit there in your ivory tower nay saying, always nay saying. ArrrrrrrrRRRRrrrRRRRrrrGHHHHhhhhhh.

Wait, sorry for blowing up like that. You did not deserve that, I am just stressed about this. I apologize. I will just sit up all night tonight and make the decisions like a big boy.

Big day is coming, can't wait..

Now GET BACK TO WORK.

Of course after my post, Marty came up strong. As usual.

Chris,

Wow - you need to stop stressing and just plan out what you need to do..
But always rememer - you need a backup plan in case something that you've been obsessing about for a month now, doesn't turn out the way you want it to.

First off - you can't do the regular thumbs up for Ric Flair.. It's got
to be the four fingers, but do it sideways with the four fingers pointing at the man as an homage. Do not put your arm around him - that is bad form in this case.

The belt sounds like a good idea, but then remember - you're going to
have to drag that around with you and protect it after that.. You should have a backup item to autograph and your own marker or something that will make a good solid autograph - don't expect him to have everything, you need to be self-contained.

Clothes - I don't know, I'm thinking that you need to go a little
non-traditional here.. Maybe an actual button up shirt with a collar.. Oh hell, I just imagined you wearing that.. Never mind.

Now - listen up, this part is important.. Don't get all loaded the night
before you go.. I know you're excited, but if you get liquored up you're going to feel like crap and you're going to forget something important. Worse than that - you will most likely do or say something extremely stupid when you meet Ric Flair - or worse yet you will pass some incredibly horrible gas just before the picture is taken and he will have some foul look on his face - and that will be your picture for all eternity. You standing there trying to smile with bloodshot eyes and half a thumbs up... and Ric Flair looking at you out of the side of his eyes and trying not to gag on your beer fart.

Marty

TPB in YQR...

First let us get some business out of the way. The last few posts have garnered some response which I will share with you...

First off Shawn Hauserinskinov, of the Green Bay Hauserinskinov's, dropped this note after the Back to Basics Post. I will also add that Hauser lost his pal Boomer recently. Boomer was a chocolate lab named after Boomer Esiason. Boomer ruled and spent a lot of QT with Farley back in the day. Those boys are now chillin together again. Sorry for your loss Hauser.

Anyway, here is what he had to say....

Damn dude, throwing down way ol' school! OK....so I too have been out in the driveway.....car comes speeding by....look quick....nope, no numbers on the side and I am sure I do not live in Daytona....so it's for sure not Junior and Kenseth racing for the black and white......I then let out a classic old dude......SLOOOOOOW DOOOOOWN!

I hear you man, nice work on the kids littering.....proud of you man!

Hauserinskinov

Yes Shawn, I do also wonder if Nascar is staging an event on the street in front of my house.

Next Todd Holdman, of the Nobody's Children Fargo Holdman's, sent me some love...

Chris,

keep the blogs coming. it's gold.

Thanks man, I appreciate it from you, especially since I have spent alot of time reading your stuff.

Next I got a few short, and a bit confusing, messages from Robby DuPuis, of the Minneapple DuPuis, and Chad Walker, of the center of the universe Toronto, Walkers. They both enjoyed what will be now known as the 'Hat Incident'... I think...

Chrispy,

only you man, only you

Robby

Chris,

You are unbelievable.

Walker

Well thank you Robby. I appreciate your comments, but I am unsure what you mean by only you. Is it the way I walk, or the way I carry myself that would make it so that I am the only one this could happen to. Or do you mean that I go out of my way to make these things happen to myself? Are you saying I have a problem? Do you want to fight?

And Walker, it is nice that you finally join the discussion. As with Robby I am unsure what you are saying. Do you not believe in me? Is the story that unbelievable? Am I super hero like, or am I more like Santa where you have to stop believing in me after you turn a certain age? Do you want to fight?

Sorry about the aggression. I just lost control for a second. I am a bit on edge because of all the cold weather. I really do thank you all for reading and responding to my stories. I do appreciate the response. I only do TundraTalk because I can imagine you guys sitting in your office laughing or just shaking your head saying "Man Peterson is an idiot." I do not expect you to all agree with me, EVER. Just thought of someone saying laughing at work keeps me going. I can already hear Marty calling me a moron right now. Your disdain for me is my inspiration.

NEXT:
All right so last week the Trailer Park Boys were in town and I did my part to keep these guys employed by buying a few tickets to the sold out show at the Casino. It was call the Trailer Park Boys Community Service Tour based on the idea that they got arrested and sentenced to a tour to speak out about the use of drugs and alcohol. It started with a puppet show and denigrated into joint rolling competitions. It was hilarious. My boy Rob McKenzie, of the Regina McKenzie's, went along and took a bunch of better pics but he is so slow on downloading them it will take some time before I see them.

That is the Green Bastard up there on the left. From parts unkown. He is about to fight Ricky for making him piss himself. Long story. The Green Bastard is from season 5 of the TPB and is hilarious.

Bubbles also sang some songs, including the classic Liquor and Whores. If you remember I posted the TPB video a while back of Bubbles singing that song at the East Coast Music Awards. Here it is to remind you.

Bubbles Sings from hamiltongbp on Vimeo.

Anyway a good time was had by all and I managed to garner some auto'd pics afterwards which I sent directly to Jon Bauer, of the Minot Budget Bauer's. I am telling you the TPB mania is sweeping the USA. Soon you will all want Ricky's autograph.

Oh and next week Norm MacDonald of SNL fame is in town and I gots ticket to that sold out show. That is going to be AWESOME!!! I wanted tickets for the sold out Kevin Costner and Modern West concert but I just could not justify 90 bones to rubberneck. I am seriously thinking about going to the Honeymoon Suite and Headpins show.

That is all for now. Have a great day and GET BACK TO WORK!!!!

Welcome to Friday, Pack win, and some old video to laugh at...

Allllllllright. The Pack won on Monday night. Sweet game and a sweet result. A Rod looked good. I know I have been critical of the kid in the past but if he plays like he did on Monday night against the queens, we are all good. NOW it was against the queens, the crappyiest team ever, so he should not get a big head. After all a lot of that credit needs to go to me for my goatee shave. That's right, now that I have shaved the 'Rodgers' cut in my goatee, he will continue to win. Not to mention I am starting a huge craze for this style cut all over the nation. I made Packer Palace dot com THE place for all things Packer. Well, besides TundraTalk. Sweet coverage of my goat. Nice. No way I can shave it now. In the infamous words of Crash Davis..."Never Fu#k with a streak".

Another thing that is nice is that Scott Dahl, of the Minneapple Dahls, and Gene Principe, of the Edmonton Sportsnet Principes, both lost bets to me. Suckers. I now am owed 12 Leinies from Dahler and supper from Principe. I love it when a plan comes together.

A few other things to take care of before I get to the classic video to show you. Brett Favre made it to Regina. Thats right, I saw him the other day on Albert Street. I managed to snap a picture of him. Have a look... Nice huh? It is great that he made the trip to Regina to visit. He really is not gone, he is always with me in my travels up and down Albert here in Regina. I guess you could say Number 4 is my co pilot. Speaking of Number 4 Jenna Leith, of the Regina Leiths, is going to see him play this weekend in NY and I have been promised a program from the game. Nice. Mom, of the Phoenix Mom's, sent me this picture she snapped in Wisconsin the other weekend.

NEXT: Speaking of parents. I have the update on the Ahman Green Car raffle. All of my postive thinking and sending out the good vibes did not over ride all the negative thinking of my parents. Every time I spoke with them I told them that it is their car. They WILL win it. Done deal. They would always reply with, and I quote, "Yeah right". You can't go into a situation like this with an attitude that you will not win. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb. Anyway, needless to say they did not win. DAMN. I already had a trip planned in this car. That is a pic of my dad and my aunt standing next to the car. She got a key, they had a party going on so they sat around and waited then Betty got in the car, tried to start it, and.....nothing. Too bad.

So they also did not also win the trip to Texas for the game. Oh well. They got an autographed Ahman Green football. Nice. It will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine. That ball will look great next to the Number 4 ball.

NEXT: Robby DuPuis, of the Minneapple DuPuis, spent some time at the RNC in St. Paul last week. Here is his account of all those crazy white people who proclaim to want 'change', but I ain't buying it since they are the reason there are so many problems....

Here's a few photos from my time at the RNC though they're not very exciting. I was only in the building on Tuesday and Wednesday and (thankfully) didn't have to deal with the anarchists.

There's a few photos from our studio suite in the Xcel, a couple outside (security entrance and snipers on the roof) and inside the Fox News Channel tent (which was huge).

The week as a whole was a lot easier (for me) than I expected, but the entire production was MUCH larger that I anticipated. Two police officers on every corner of downtown St. Paul and the security zone was quite large and heavily guarded.

That's it. No exciting stories. Saw a few famous talking heads from cable news channels (which doesn't do much for me since I think their part of the problem and not helping matters) and a couple of polititians (same comment there).

I posted an album on Facebook if you're a facebooker.

Peace, rob

Thanks Robby for the update. Looks like you missed out on most of the crazy rich people speeches. Good Job.

NEXT: Now we get to the goods. I recently was cleaning my shed when I stumbled into the boxes of tapes that I have amassed in my TV career and I found some stuff I wanted to share with you. I am not going to give all of it up today, I am going to spread it out a bit over a few weeks. Just to keep you coming back. That my friends, is what we in the biz call a 'tease'. Nice.

First up is a classic Peterson video from around 1998. Right after There's Something About Mary came out. Of course you know that the greatest QB of all times made his screen debut in that film and took off like rockets. Well, I heard that a local golf tournament in Sheboygan, I love saying that name, Sheboygan, was having as a special celebrity guest Chris Elliot. My favorite comedic actor. Those of you who worked with me back in Bismarck remember the Christmas that I gave everyone in the building, that I wanted to, a copy of his book, Daddy's Boy. I am a huge fan, so of course I insisted that I get to go and cover this.

Of course my angles was that Brett Favre was in the movie with him and I could ask him about it. Bingo I get the green light to go. It was in the evening so I decided to take Donna with me for company. It also just happened to be a week when my parents were visiting. Sooooo they went also. Really kinda unprofessional of me, but that is one thing I have NEVER claimed to be was professional.

I of course was going to conduct the interview. Now that is not a big deal, but I do not beleive that I had ever done it before this. Those of you who take the time to listen to the TT Podcast know that I am not, like Roy Firestone, the best interviewer in the business. I, in fact, really suck. I was really nervous when I sat him down for the interview and did not remember any of the questions I had thought of. I now write them down. As you can see when you watch the interview he is a bit annoyed with my style, or lack there of, and cut me down on several occaisions. Chris is a guy who used to write for Dave Letterman back in the NBC days. He is the king of sarcasm and loves to take shots at people. He took many at me. But by the end of the interview I made him laugh and it was all good.

Chris Elliot Int from hamiltongbp on Vimeo.

After the interview I had him sign my copy of Daddy's Boy, which he could not believe I had, and took a few pics. One of which was our Christmas card in 1998. Oh, I also remember when I introduced myself to him I told him my name was Chris Peterson, and he said "Shut up you are lying" I showed him my DL and he laughed and said "Do you live over your parents garage?" I said no, but these are my parents. He just rolled his eyes, laughed and sat down. Way cool. In case you do not know he had a sit com on FOX called Get a Life that his characters name was Chris Peterson. He was also a paper boy in that show. Great Show.

Anyway this is the first in many videos that I will show you that are very funny in a self depricating way. Enjoy.

Have a great weekend and GET BACK TO WORK!!!!

The Gear Daddies, Minneapple, and the Twins game sucked...

Okay, so this post is a bit late but the whole Favre to NY threw me off and I have been busy as hell lately so just read it and get over yourself.

I was in Minneapolis last weekend. Yup, I was in the states. I know most of you felt a tremor in the force. I went down with Donna to see Robby, Dahl, Nick, Tony, and the Gear Daddies. Not necessarily in that order.

We left Regina on Wednesday night with full intentions of getting to Minot in time to have some ribs and beers with Tony Mutzenberger and Steve Shoenrock, of the Minot Mutzenbergers and Shoenrocks. Work did not get me out early and an unfortunate forgetting of the passports set us back.

Oh well, it is all good. We stopped over halfway and dropped McKenna with my parents in Hazen to stay for a visit and we were back on the road the next day. We stopped for Lunch in Fargo and were able to hook up with Nick Chase of the Fargo Chases. It was a nice visit with him and his wife and baby. I have not seen Nick for a while and it was like we just saw each other yesterday the way we just rapped like old times. Nick of course is stamping out Terrorism and anyone else who dares to flout the rules of law in North Dakota. Much ass is kicked by this man everyday. Don't F with Nick Chase.

After lunch we finished our trip by arriving at Robby DuPuis of the Minneapolis Dupuis. He has a very nice house just at the end of the Minneapolis Saint Paul Airport. It is amazing how low those planes fly above his house.

On the agenda for the weekend was a trip to see the Gear Daddies at the Zoo Amphitheatre, a trip to see the Twins at the Metrodome, some artsy stuff at the Art Fair, and some serious shopping at the Mall of America.

Friday morning took us to the Mall. Donna did some power shopping and I purchased a replica of the new Lambeau to go with my old one. Good morning at the mall. Robby worked that day. It was the first anniversary of the bridge falling into the river so he had some big shoots that day. If you remember correctly he was the first TV news camera on the scene that day. He has even was interviewed for a special that aired that evening. I saw Robby's footage from that day and he did a great job. Proud of him, I taught him everything he shouldn't do so he did great.

Anyway, Friday night brought the reason why we travelled all this way. Well that and the beer that Scott Dahl owed me. The concert was at the Minneapolis Zoo Amphitheatre. Nice little venue to see a show at. Around 1000 people crowded in to listen to a band that has been around for a long time. The Gear Daddies are a band from Minnesota that play a brand of alt rock/country that I am a huge fan of.

Dahl got the tickets for us, which I still owe him for, and the night was on. I managed to record most of it on my iPod. I know it is not exactly kosher to do that, but hell, I did. If you would like a copy just drop me a line and we will get it done. Oh and just so you know, there is a lot of us singing on this copy. Well here have a listen...

Gear Daddies live... from hamiltongbp on Vimeo.

Yup, that is me singing. The drunk guy. That was an awesome concert. A band that I have wanted to see for a long time.

The next day we, as my suggestion, decided to go to a Twins game. I take full responsibility for this trip. I know, the Twins suck, the Metrodome sucks, it all sucks. I have never been in the Metrodome so I wanted to experience the suck in person. Plus, I was hoping to do Robby DuPuis Entourage Podcast at the game. You know, that would be cool right. Podcast live from a major league baseball game. Well, kinda major league since it is the twins.

I figured that it would be me, Donna, Robby, Dakota, and about 10 other people. That is usually what I see on the highlights. Well, unbeknownst to me it was Twins DQ hat night. It is amazing how midwesterners will go out of their way to get something free. If I was a Twins fan and a resident of Minnesota, thank god I am not, I would soooo be there. We could not get a seat on the lower level, from scalpers. I hate those guys. That is a whole nother story. Anyway, we sat way up in the top of the Metrodome. If this were a queens game, which again thank god it was not, it would suck to watch a game there. Way to sterile and air conditioned. Especially for baseball, a person must be outside for a ball game not in this baggie dome.

So we are watching the game and this dude about 10 rows up starts yelling at the team. My first thought is dude, we are three miles from the game, they cannot hear you. But he paid for his seat he has a right to yell. Then this broad, and I use this term in a completely non flattering way, starts yelling back at him. I immediately think we are going to have a fight. I of course, encouraged the fight. Nothing happened. So I decide to find more tasty beverages so I go out and search for a tasty one. While I was gone the broad decided to have this guy kicked out. He wasn't swearing, he wasn't too abusive he just was an Indian fan. So this chick took it upon herself to have him ejected.

Robby decided to give her a piece of his mind on the way out. I told him I had his back and he proceeded to tell her that if she did not like heckling that she should stay at home and watch the game. Well this trailer trash did not like this and promptly told Robby that he should go back to New York. Dumb ass, which is what I called her a few times. Then, get this, just as we get to the concourse she grabs my arm, pulls me toward her, says "have a nice night", AND HER DAUGHTER KICKED ME IN THE SHINS. Then they ran to the womans bathroom. AMAZING.

I just got kicked in ths shin by a 13 year old trailer park trash kid, who is a Twins fan, at a MLB game. Wow. I hate to generalize, but I think I will. Twins fans are just as dumb as queen fans. Sorry. Here is another thing about Twinsfan that drove us crazy. NO ONE SITS AND WATCHES THE DAMN GAME. We sat on the aisle so all we saw the whole game was jerkoffs going up and down buying sammiches, dogs, popcorn, pop, and anything else they think they need RIGHT NOW. We only saw a few innings of baseball, and a ton of a-holes walking up and down. Sucked, sucked, sucked, sucked.

So that was the basic gist of our weekend in Minneapple. I did not get to do my podcast from the Twins game, but we did it from Robby's man cave in his basement. CLICK HERE to listen to the magic, or just click the link above. I have had it up for a week or so and some of you have already hit it so thank you for listening to TundraTalk the Podast. Robby did a great job and we added a new game to the show. It is called Brush with Greatness to the Death. Basically the host starts with a Brush With Greatness story and then the guest has to counter. It goes back and forth until one of us give up. I will tell you that I do not give up. Deal with that.

Now Tony Mutzenberger of the Minot Mutzenbergers was supposed to go before Robby but he has been busy being an army guy so I will get to him soon. Up after that will be Mitch Davis of the Regina Davis'. Good luck Mitch. Start studying your man laws.

Okay that is all. Now GET BACK TO WORK!!!!!

This just in...It is official, my first round perfection was a fluke...

Okay, so now we all know that I got lucky in the first round. My second round I only got one series right. What do you expect? Me to pick against my favorite team? No way Jose. I still believe that the Avs could come back and win that series.

Quickly, because I am at work. Third round picks....

PITTSBURGH PENGUINS(2) vs PHILADELPHIA FLYERS(6)

Okay, when in doubt pick the team that has a former Gambler on it. Ty Conklin is on this team so I pick the Penguins. Never mind the fact that they have Malkin and Crosby. Some people say that the Flyers will rough the Penguins up. Uh, does anybody remember that the Pens have Georges Laraque? You know the toughest guy in the NHL. Undisputed heavyweight champion Georges Laraque. Just refer to this video to refresh your memory.

DETROIT DEAD WINGS(1) vs DALLASS STARS(5)

Okay I hate both these teams so I pick neither of them. They both suck. DalASS because they used to be the Minnesota North Stars and Detroit becasue they are Detroit. So I guess I pick Detroit because I am sooooo tired of teams from the south winning the cup where no one outside of the 20 thousand in the rink cares. I hope both these teams lose.

NEXT: Robby DuPuis of the Minneapolis DuPuis, sent this note about Tony and his return to the land of the free....

Hey, I was going through some old photos in my email account and found this rather obscure brush with fame from my rehearsal dinner the nite before my wedding. Legendary NHL referee Kerry Frasier stopped by for a beer.
Also, I need to request that Tony's entourage test is A LOT harder than the rest of ours. We're just a bunch of beer drinkin' punks next to him. The guy thrives in war zones which is a hell of a lot more than I can say, so he already has a leg up before the exam starts. Not fair, but glad to hear he's back safe and sound.

Robby

As you can see the pic to the right is Robby with Kerry Fraser. Nice. As for the podcast, not sure what I can do for you Rob. It's not like a bonehead like me is going to be able to make a guy who just did two tours in Iraq misstep. I am, after all, the guy who came up with the "Bon Jovi Lyric Interpretation". If I were smart it would be called the "Michael Stipe lyric interpretation".

Sorry.

And to show my incredible intelligence I will post this video of the Iron Shiek going nuts in an interview. Mikey Zee, of the CBC Zees, showed me this the other day. Man that Iron Shiek is CRAZY. If you want more, just go to YouTube and type "Iron Shiek Goes Nuts". Lots to choose from.

The best thing, among about 10 funny things, is he mentions God, Jesus, and Vince McMahon all in the same sentence. Yup you heard me right, AND what he says he wants to do to one of the Killer Bees is HILARIOUS. You must watch this, but NOT AT WORK!!!!!

Trev brings the noise...

Okay, the next victim stood up and took his medicine. Trev Doroshenko, of the Regina Doroshenkos, took time to take the quiz on TundraTalk the Podcast. What did Trev talk about? Well he spoke on the worst boss ever, the worst football team ever, and even managed to slip in some beer talk. Nice trev. CLICK HERE to listen to Trev rock the house or just click on the link up on the right.

Next up on the list to end all lists is our first, and I think last, viqueen fan. Reg Rudolph, of the Garrison Rudolphs, will step into the gauntlet. What do you think we will talk about? I can think of one thing.

Robby DuPuis, of the Minneapple DuPuis, took some offence to my soccer rants. Robby is a soccer enthusiast and thought I was a bit harsh...
WOW! Pretty harsh stuff. It's too bad soccer fans aren't classy like a rasslin' crowd.

Robby

Dude, I have never claimed wrasslin' fans to be classy, let alone intelligent. I am just sayin' that my experience this past few weeks has been difficult. I would rather cover city hall. Really. I know you play, and like I said I see how it could be a good workout, but it is far from entertaining to watch. Wrasslin', VERY entertaining. Not real, but very entertaining.

I'll agree that soccer is much more entertaining to play than watch, but I would not call wrasslin' entertaining. Ridiculous yes, entertaining no, and this is spoken from someone who has been to a wrasslin' match. Once was enough.

Robby

That is why it is entertaining. It is ridiculous. If you had gone to said match with me, you would have had a great time. Trust me I know. One of Donna and my first dates was ringside at the Minot Dome for a wrasslin' event. I got to go to wrasslin' AND hang out with a cool chick. Who won on that one? ME, BABY, ME! AND she still married me didn't she? There must be something there.

I will make one more comparison to try to illustrate my point. Remember the movie back in the 80's called 'Just one of the guys' where the chick pretended to be a dude? I did not see it but this movie's box has a picture of this chick in football locker room. There was a movie out recently called 'She's the man' that basically had the same plot, chick pretending to be a dude, except it was based around soccer. I am sure both of these movies sucked the big one, but the one that had football sucked a whole lot less because it did not involve soccer.

Bottom line soccer sucks. End of story. Sorry to offend you Robby.

Robby did send me this link to him prognosticating on the NHL playoffs. Robby is soooooo cool in this clip, his hair is way off the charts. But his prognosticating is dead on. I did remind him that I also had a haircut that was a bit, let's say, off back in the day.

Now, thatsa bad hair cut. Keith Murphy used to refer to this haircut as my "Molly Ringwald period". Yup, bad hair. If I remember correctly Robby was there when I actually had my hair dyed red. Robby went for the old lady grey but ended up with kinda gross white.

We all do stupid things when we are young.

Now Get back to work!!!!!!

Here is the order for the Entourage Podcasts...

Here is what Sonja Heitsusan, of the Dead Moines Heitsusans, said about my truck getting broken into. Welcome to the dialogue Sonja. It is about time....

Chris –

Long time no talk to. I was reading about the truck break-in. At least the A-hole didn’t steal the entire truck. My car got stolen a year ago. The dude slit the rag-top, stole everything inside (I mean everything, shoes, books, gloves, etc) and told police he picked up a prostitute and had SEX in the car!!! Needless to say, I wished he would have totaled the car, but the police caught him going about 100 MPH down I-235.

So, the moral of this story, it can always be worse. At least you don’t have to power wash the INSIDE of your truck J

Hope all is well -

Sonya Heitshusen

Yup Sonja, I am glad he did not steal the truck. That would have sucked to 8 hours away and not have wheels. As for the cops arresting him for going 100 on I 235, I thought that WAS the speed limit.

Reggie chimed in on the Entourage Podcasts...

I didn’t see Tony Mutz on the list. Considering the situation he is in, it is imperative that a fair man like yourself would put in a placeholder for the time being. Don’t be a dick like Tupac, look where that got him. Dead! Yeah that is right, Ray Lewis didn’t shoot him either.

Also, you visit a friend and subsequently get your “truck” (hauling grain now?) broke into. Sounds pretty suspicious to me, how well do you know Mr. Blashill?

Thanks for allowing me to make the short list, but give up on the I hate the Vikings shit. To you it may be a religious experience, but to me it is an opportunity to get a good nap on Sunday’s during the fall. Yes they are overpaid representatives of our loyalty to the team, but I will be able to walk when I am sixty and they will be zealots of our past entertainment.

I look forward to your litany of questions, however I am concerned with the tone of “smack down” references. If you recall, my role is one of practicality. I don’t smack down anyone for sport.

Finally, because you knew me before I was 18 it is permissible to call me Reggie. All others will refer to me as Reg or Mr. Rudolph. Also, your entourage should have cool nicknames. Like Nordic Man-that is a bad ass nick name, just hope he lives up to it.

Reginal Rudolph, General Manager
McLean Electric Cooperative, Inc.

Thanks Reg, errr Reggie, I hope you get yours during the podcast. You might want to start with the smak because it will help. The bit about Cory sounded suspiciously like smak to me. No I do not haul grain, but I do haul ass. Whoooooooo!!!!! As for Tony, like I said, not sure how to get a hold of him in Iraq. I don't even have his email let alone his digits. I am sure he would hold his own if he was able to participate.

So here it is!!! As chosen by my 5 year old out of my Packer hat given to me by Dwayne Mandrusiak, who got it from Red Beatty the Packers equipment guy. McKenna cannot read much, let alone your names so there was no bias involved in the order that she chose.

So start studyin' your Bon Jovi and your man laws because you are gonna need all your wits about you for this one. Oh, and a bit of Jager might help.

Here it goes...

1. Min Dhariwal
2.
Mike Chaussee
3. Nordic Man
4. Trev Doroshenko
5. Reg Rudolph
6. Derek Venckus
7. Cory Blashill
8. Robby DuPuis
9. Mitch Davis
10.
Marty Frey
11. Chad Weiser
12. Shawn Hauser

Robby DuPuis, Weidman, and Randy Hawke drop knowledge...

Okay, today I got another entry for the big show. Robby DuPuis, of the Minneapple DuPuis, dropped some knowledge on us. I have known Robby from way back to the MSU days. He also worked at KXMB with me for awhile. Robby is all character and would be a good addition to the crew. Take it away Robby...

First off, let me say that's it's an honor just to be considered & mentioned with such great company.
I'm confident that my qualifications are unmatched and will stand up to anyone's scrutiny.
I'm from North Dakota. That should be enough alone, but I 'll continue. I'm a graduate of the University of North Dakota and proudly support The Sioux everywhere I travel and even more so in the land of the goophers.

Although some think that being a Bronco fan is a weakness (the Packer fans still hurting from Super Bowl 32), I do root for the Packers and more importantly HATE the viqueens and everything they stand for with every fiber of my being.

I have also withheld certain information about Chris illegally harboring a teenage runaway (no hanky-panky) for a night some thirteen years ago.
I can drink a lot of beer.
The bottom line is: I am good people that comes from good people and if we're runnin' together, I got your back no matter what.
Peace, robby
-References available on request-

Okay, Robby makes some good points here. I like the fact that he is upfront with the fact that he is a donkey fan. He hates the queens, good. He is a Sioux fan, check. I know for a fact that he is a longstanding fan of the Hrkac Circus from way back. Most importantly he can drink a lot of beer. Big check.

Now about this teenage runaway, I will not lie. I did harbour a couple of runaways back in Bismarck once. But I felt it was the right thing to do at the time. Thanks for bringing that up Rob, not sure if that won you any points.

NEXT:
Randy Hawke, of the Madison Wisconsin Hawkes, chimes in with what I will call a short but effective entry...

Bullshit. This is MINE! I can give you sports tickets, CDs and I fuckin funny!

Hawke

Okay. Well. I think that you stated your case well. I would think that a big time radio DJ might be a bit more prolific, or at least grammaticaly correct, but never the less you made your case. We will see how it goes.

Jordi Weidman of the Spruce Grove Weidmans, also decided he wanted in. Jordi what you got?

An entourage always has a really sharp dresser. I have lots of suits. You and I have been on a few road trips and have been through a couple of labour wars. Plus I would get McKenna's vote if she had a vote.

Jordi

Uh, okay, sharp dresser I get, but McKenna. What are you sayin? My daughter likes you? Yes we have been on the road together and you already know my routine, which does help. Not to mention the labor war thing. Nice job, Jordi, I think.

Now, all of you, GET BACK TO WORK!!!!

I am gonna get me an entourage...

Okay, so I have decided to start writing again. No not just here to you the loyal TundraTalk Nation, but another screenplay. Or maybe just a story. I am not sure what has inspired me to do this. I think maybe it has to do with a few things. The other day I was digging around in the furnace room looking for something that I have no idea where it is when I found a box of letters. My Mom and Dad, for some reason decided to keep all the correspondence that I received when I was in school and the Forest Service. Not sure why.

Oh, wait, you remember that don't you. Writing letters? Can you imagine? I used to, apparantly, write a lot of letters. I probably had around 60 letters in this box. Most of them from girls. Now before you start thinking that I am just bragging, don't. These letters were not hot or even warm. They pretty much sucked. Weird thing about it some of the girls I got letters from I cannot for the life of me remember what they looked like or even who they were. Crazy. After reading a few of them I figured out I had a pretty much a form letter that I sent them. Basically describing what I have been up to, a question on what they are doing, and then asking for their phone number and a picture. Seriously, every one of these letters from different girls answered the same questions.

I also got a few letters from Chad Weiser, of the Bellevue Microsoft is satan Weisers, Reg Rudolph, of the Garrison Rudolphs, and Shannon Just, of the not sure where Justs. It must not have been to easy for those guys to write because there were no more than two from each of them. Shannon was so lazy that he even had my mom fill in the address to the Forest Service. Lazy bastard. Letter writing is a lost art, and by the looks of these letters, not to many of my homeboys were artists. Reggie's was good though.

Anyway, I have always wanted to put down on paper my experiences in the Forest Service fighting fire and reading these letters reminded me of some of those stories so I decided to finally start writing it.

So obviously, that leads me to want to put together an Entourage. You know, for when I sell the book or screenplay and have loads of money to just throw away on my homies. I need a support system to keep me real. I know, some of you are saying "What the hell are you talking about Chris. Isn't that what your family is for?" Yes, and no. I like the show Entourage, and I just wanted to go through, what I will call a tryout, or the interview process of putting one together.

A good Entourage consists of four or five dudes. No you can't just put anyone into these spots. I do not want an Entourage that consists of yes men that will just go along with all my lame brain ideas. I need guys who will not be afraid to call me an idiot. Most of the people I have chosen to go on the list would probably step over themselves to call me an idiot so I think I will be okay on that point. After all if you have a group of yes men that usually leads to jail time like Tyson, or Iverson. You know the old saying, "You are who you roll with." Well I guess it is not old but it works.

So I am going to break down a list of potential candidates for my Entourage. I hope no one is offended by not being on this list but trust me I have put a lot of thought into this. This list is in no particular order, just putting it out there. Good luck and here we go...

MARTY FREY - Check the list to the right, whose name is at the top of topics in TT. Marty Freaking Frey. This guy is a frontrunner for many reasons. He is a Packer fan, he sends me stuff, he has major connections, he has been to the Playboy Mansion twice in the past year, he almost burnt me to a crisp for a commercial, and he is usually one of the first guys I can count on to call me an idiot. Marty is also the man who uttered the infamous 'Dee Snider Poker Night Comment'. Which of course is huge. Trump will not work with anyone else in LA and neither would I. Marty this is your spot to lose.

DEREK VENCKUS - Derek made this list on his ability to make me laugh. A dude has got to have a guy to make him laugh in case I have a bad day at the studio because some dumb ass actor will not do what I tell them to. Venckus is also a person who will call me an idiot just for drill. Plus he knows hockey. I needs a guy to talk hockey with. I believe he is a closet Packer Fan. Every Entourage needs a driver, and I have seen Derek drive the NBC 26 mobile commisaries at the Elkhart track in Wisconsin. To quote the great movie Ricky Bobby - "Derek Bobby is not a thinker, Derek Bobby is a Driver." Derek is a definite front runner for one of the spots.

TREVOR DOROSHENKO - Our first Canadian to pop up on the list, Trev is a guy who unfortunatly is a Red Wings fan but makes up for it by tolerating my Packer Talk. Trev is a guy I went to war with at the A-Channel which spawned our charity golf tournament that was a huge success in Edmonton for 6 years. Trev also shows much loyalty to me by following me from Edmonton to Regina. He missed me so much after we left that he could not take living in E-town with out me. That my friends is loyalty. Good on him. Trev also is a guy who is not afraid to call me names if I deserve it. Good luck Trev. Oh and we will forgive him for posing like the Heisman, a college award, at the PRO football hall of fame.

SHAWN HAUSER - Hauser, or Hauserinskinov as he is called in the NHL, starts off well by being a Packer Fan. As you recall from the NFC Championship weekend podcast, he is vital in the Packers success last year. He gives Favre hand signals from the sidelines when Brett does not know what to do. Sweet. Hauser is also a hockey fan (Rangers too bad) and loves beer. You have got to have a guy in your crew who can locate and allocate beer when it is needed. Hauser has these qualities in spades. He was also there on the infamous 'Dee Snider Poker Night Comment'. Hauser has a house full of women, as I do, so hanging with the boys is crucial. Hauser is a very strong candidate.

CORY BLASHILL - Our second Canadian to make the list. Cory, well where do I start with Cory? Lets just say Cory is the goods. If you need something, Cory can get it. If something is broke, Cory can fix it. If you need something to eat, Cory can cook it. If you need a live hit in les than 5 minutes, Cory is your huckleberry. If you need gossip on someone, just pull up a chair. Also if someone is bugging you and you want them to go away, Cory will send them packing. Cory also has the best luck of anyone I know. Plus he has great stories from the road and always drinks with the finest athletes. Oh, and Cory can plan a party like no other. It would be safe to say right now that Cory pretty much has a spot locked up.

ROBBY DUPUIS - Robby, despite living in Minneapolis, is for one the guy who I could count on in my crew to be the voice of reason. You know the one, the guy who keeps us from going into the wrong bars, casinos, or strip clubs. The one who at the drop of the hat could have us in a limo on the way to Vegas. Of course he would get us comped. The only thing about Robby that is holding him back a bit is the fact that he is a fan of the Donkeys and John Elway. As you can see in the picture he is getting his ass handed to him by the Hansen Brothers. Robby knows that the greatest film of all times is Slapshot. Robby could also be the enforcer of the group. Need one of those.

THE NORDIC MAN - First and formost, he has a killer nickname. A must have in a posse. You must have a guy with a nickname. Nordic Man. Now that kicks ass. Secondly, he is our hook up for Packers tickets. This guy ALWAYS comes through for me or my boys. Nordic Man also has a palace in Gillet Wisconsin that is sutiable for many a fine get together. Nordic Man also loves hockey and is willing to tell me to shut up if I need to. The Nordic one is also a man with a house full of women. Guys like us need a lot of QT with the boys. This crew would supply all of that time. Last, but certainly not least, he was also there on the infamous 'Dee Snider Poker Night Comment'. Nice job Nordic Man you are on the list.

TONY MUTZENBERGER - I am starting a new trend with my posse. A war hero. From now on when someone considers putting together an Entourage they will consider a war hero. Tony is down. Now, he may not want to join my posse because he probably is still upset about Chad and me putting him thru the car wash in the back of Chad's El Camino in high school. Maybe he is over it though, we really could use a guy who knows his way around an AK-47.

CHAD WEISER - Speaking of Chad, a person should have at least one of his boys from way back in his crew. Chad has many qualities that would fit in my crew. First and foremost he likes beer. Unfortunately he is a Seahawk fan but he makes up for it by being a Celtics fan. He is also a man who has a house full of women and could use more time with the boys. Chad works for a landscape architecture firm so when I get ready to build the palatial mansion he can design it with everyone's needs in mind so when we all move in we will not feel the least bit uncomfortable. Oh, did I mention that we all have to live in the same house? Required. Deal with it.

NICK CHASE - Nick is on the list because he is the baddest lawyer in the land. He kicks ass and takes names daily. Every posse needs an agent type that knows his way around the law. Nick is this guy. Nick is also a huge wrasslin fan who I personally have sat ringside with. He also attended Wrestlemania 19 with Weiser, Ivy and me. He is a natural leader that can lead the group to all the best deals as well as the best parties. Nick is the go getter that this crew needs. He probably won't join up because he is too busy fighting terrorism, or terrism as W calls it. Too bad, Nick would have fit in well.

SHANE T. KELLER -What would Shane bring to the table? Well, as you can see in the picture he is wearing what is possibly the ugliest thing a person can put on their body. He is a queen fan. I know, why the hell would I put a queen fan in my crew? Well, Shane is a good guy that just has a few flaws. Also every crew needs someone to make fun of. Being a queen fan would give us tons of material. But Shane would not just be the butt of many a joke, he is our hook up to the music business. He has worked in the industry for many years and has tons of connections. Let's say I decided one day that I needed a theme song. Shane could get on the blower and have that done by noon. Shane IS the music industry. So he all but makes up for the fact that he is a queen fan.

MITCH DAVIS - The third Canadian on the list Mitch makes it solely that he is my brother in law. Every Entourage needs some nepotism. Plus if we go to concerts and need ear protection he has the hook up. Tinitus he can help us with also. Nice job Mitch. Way to make the grade. Oh and most importantly, he is a Packer Fan. Mitch is the man.

Okay, there you have it, the front runners for my Entourage. I will note there were some others that had potential. And really, anyone could increase their value between now and when I actually put this thing together. Any one of them could step their game up and knock one of the top contenders out. On the same note the contenders need to keep their game up. No prevent defense here. Keep doing what you are doing. Here is the also rans....

Steve Iverson, Min Dhariwal, Greg Donnelly, Mike Chaussee, Uncle Rayman, Reg Rudolph, Steve Schoenrock, and last but not least, Jason Manning.

Okay, if you are on this list keep doing what you are doing. If you are not on this list and want to be, step it up. Send me a resume, a demo reel, and a list of references. We will see what you can do. Remember there are only 4 or five spots and lots of talent on this list. This is the whos who of TundraTalk.

I'd be interested to hear if you have lists of who you would put in your posse. I wonder how many of those lists I would make. I think I would do okay. Anyway, do not take this list personal, this is strictly business.

Now that I have that out of the way, GET BACK TO WORK!!!!!
