A Great show...Invasion Iowa

So I don't have much to give you this week. I have been extremely busy this week with work, football, and McKenna being sick.

I did manage to catch the show Invasion Iowa on Spike TV. I really wish I would have thought of this one. William Shatner takes a crew to Iowa and shoots a movie. The catch is the movie is not real and the people on his crew are actors. They con the whole town into thinking it is real and get them to do crazy things. William Shatner is great. Just a nutball. The finale is tonight on Spike.

But the best show ever is on sunday April 17th. Trailer park boys show up for season 5. The funniest show on Canadian televsision. I believe that it is on in the US on BBC Canada. If you have the means please watch this show. Adam Cook compared it to the three stooges and Gilligans Island. These guys live in Sunnyvale Trailer Park and are small time criminals that usually end up in jail at the end of each season. Ricky chainsmokes and swears, Julian never not has a rum and coke in his hands, and Bubbles lives in a shed, repairs grocery carts, and takes care of all the stray cats in the park.

Here is Shocases promo for the show....

Showcase proudly presents ten new episodes of the Gemini award-winning Trailer Park Boys, a Showcase Original Series. Like all good stories, season five opens in a Nova Scotia jail…

Last time around all three of the boys (Julian, Ricky and Bubbles) ended up in prison. It wasn't so bad though. They had each other and Bubbles got to keep one of his cats with him. Oh and one more thing—they own the Sunnyvale Trailer Park now.

A few other minor things happen in the lives of the Trailer Park Boys. Grandmothers in drug dens; wheelchair fraud arrests; nasty rap videos; stolen rocket launchers; break-ins at the local college; dope shipped in shopping carts; Lahey getting an award and probably the biggest gun fight in Canadian television history—and that includes King of Kensington.

Just another year in the Sunnyvale Trailer Park.
No big deal.

Don't miss a moment of the action on Trailer Park Boys. Airing Sundays at 9 pm ET/PT beginning April 17.

My favorite character, Ricky. Troubled, but a quiet smart.

Have a good day and GET BACK TO WORK!!!!!!!
