FAVRE TO THE qUEENS????? In related news, forecast for hell is freezing rain...

As you know, TundraTalk has sources in all corners of Canada and the good ole US of A. As you also know, TundraTalk is your only source of breaking news about the Packers and other stuff. Well, I have done it again.

Sources tell TundraTalk that a certain DB that used to play for the Packers until he sold out, has told someone close to my source that if Brett Favre's 'arm is healed and feels good he will play for the queens.' Done deal. Rock solid. I will give you pause to scream NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!


Okay, now that that is out of the way. How does TundraTalk feel about this? Well, I will tell you. This whole Favre to the queens is not new news. You can read about it here, here and here. I know that news has been around for weeks.

As far as why he wants to go to the godless queens? I put it square on Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy. He wants to play in Lambeau field and whip the pants off of the Packers. I hate to say it but, he might just do it. He did not have a chance to do it last year with the Jets but we all know that if he goes to the queens he will have two chances to do it. TT Nation member Ryan Popkey, of the GB Popkey's, told TT earlier today that he would love to have new LB Clay Mathews 'welcome him to Lambeau personally'. I agree, but man would it be hard to watch Favre run out of that tunnel wearing that godforsaken purple that those losers wear.

Really nothing would make me more happy than to see a shit look on Ted's face after Number 4 leaves the field with a 40-0 W on his back, but not for those shitty queens. Never. Due to his indiscretions last year I have already had to take my Favre Fathead wall hanging off the wall in the man cave, demoted him and moved it to the beer fridge room. Not that the beer fridge room is much of a demotion, but I would hate to have to move it to the shed. This kind of dumbass decision might just seal the deal. Really, who in their right mind wants to play in Minnesota? Dipshits and Randy Moss.

Forget what it says in the picture to the right, it would be MY worst nightmare. Last year when he was in NY I at least had two games to watch on Sundays that would be interesting. I was rooting for the guy whilst he was in NY. In fact I managed to finagle a NY Jets McFarlane Favre which is sitting right next to the Packer one. I was not totally offended when he went there last year. It was a reasonable thing to do. He actually had a decent 3/4's of the year with the Jets.

I don't ever want to find myself in front of the tube, watching Favre play, rooting for him, and then realizing I was rooting for the queens. NEVER. I mean really if Dick Cheney had a team and they were playing the queens, I would root for Dick. If Hitler had a team, wait, maybe not. I would root for injuries on both sides. Yeah.

I loved Brett Favre as a Packer and I understand that his current motivation now is to hurt Ted Thompson any way that he can. Really - I can't blame him as Ted has systematically taken a winning team apart just so he could have "his guys" playing for him and Favre was standing in his way.

But going to the Viqueens is the last step in the tarnishing of a champion. I get it - you want to take Ted down. So do I. But going to the Viqueens is just like making a deal with the devil or turning traitor in the middle of battle..

Real heroes just don't do it. You take the high road and you let Ted self destruct on his own - then talk about it on ESPN after he's dead and gone.

I know Brett reads TundraTalk, so I am going to make my plea.

Dear Brett,

First off, I want to thank you for all the years you played so amazing for the Green Bay Packers. For all those 'holy shit' moments that you gave us whether we were sitting in the stands or watching at home on the TV. I was there when you whipped the 49'rs in 1996 when the rain was sleet and coming down sideways. I was there when you took on the Giants for the NFC Championship. I was there when you whipped the Cowboys by 3 TD's. That was freaking awesome. Oh and the night you beat the queens in OT with that prayer pass that Freeman caught off his ass. I was watching and screaming at my TV. Great moment.

I was there parade side when you brought the Lombardi Trophy back to where it belongs, Green Bay Wisconsin. Titletown USA. It was a glorious time to live in GB and to be a Packer fan. I to this day still believe that you deserved the MVP. Not Desmond 'I will leave you and suck next year' Howard. That said, the Minnesota viqueens will NEVER win anything EVER. You know that as well as I do.

Anyway, the reason I am writing you today is to plead to your better conscience. You are a great quarterback. Best ever in my book. You have nothing to prove to anyone. I know that that dick Ted Thompson really fucked with your life for two to three years and Mike McCarthy really does not know his head from his ass, but by doing this you are playing into their hands. They want you to do this. They are arrogant a-holes who think they do no wrong. Let them fall on their face by themselves. They do not need your push.

I know that Mr. Noodle over there in the Baggie Dome is making you an offer that will be hard to refuse. I mean really, look what he has to work with. Tavaris who? Sage who? And some guy named Booty who wears your number. If I were him I would be begging you to come also, but I would never, EVER be him because I have class and respect for the game of football. Real men play on grass outdoors. Oh, and don't run over traffic cops and go on porno boats on one of those many swamps in Minnesota. One more thing about Minnesucka, their hunting sucks balls. Wisconsin is waaaaaaay better. Believe dat.

Remember, Lambeau field is still your house. It ain't A Rod's until he has a winning season. We want to see you back in Lambeau just as bad as you want to be there. It's just that we want to see you raise your number to the ring of honour NOT see you wearing that ugly purple jersey.

So to wrap this up with a nice little green and gold bow. Please Brett, don't play for the queens. If not for your legacy, don't do it for all the fans who still think you are the greatest QB to ever play the game. Playing for the queens never does anyone any good. Look what it did for Herschel Walker and Warren Moon. Nothing. That is what you need to do, nothing. Oh, or maybe mow your lawn.
