Just a few vids for you to watch on your Monday. Thanks to Chris Mehring, of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Mehrings, for posting The Warriors on his blog. Reminded me how great that movie is. The posting below is the scene where the Warriors go head to head against the Furies in Central Park. The Furies by the way, besides the Warriors, were my favorite gang from that movie. Man after that movie came out I wanted to join a gang soooo bad. I believe that I have spoken about this movie before on TundraTalk but man it is worth mentioning again.
This movie was made back when gangs were tough, where they fought it out with their fist instead of reaching for a gun. Garner Andrews, of the Edmonton Andrews, speaks about his amusement park, MANLAND, where monkeys shoot guns and men are encouraged to be men. He says that when you enter every speaker in the park is playing the theme song from The Warriors and every man is issued a Warriors vest to wear whilst at the park. That is a park I want to go to. Anyway watch the clip and remember there is some language in this one so if you are at work, TURN IT DOWN!!!!
